✨SUMMER HIGHLIGHT✨

We may be back in school, but we're still reminiscing on summer. Read below about senior Ballet major Zoë Hodges and her summer!

This summer I was able to dance in a variety of places. I performed in a show for Bruce Wood Dance Dallas collaborating with Uptown Player’s and was lucky to perform alongside alum Allison Glasman.

Later this summer I attended Cleo Parker Robinson’s summer program. I was so grateful to have learned from Ms. Robinson herself! It was such an incredible experience.

Lastly I ended my summer off in NYC at the Dance Theatre of Harlem School’s intensive. In addition to training during the day we were taken to many shows including one featuring artists of the Paris Opera Ballet. by @tcuxte

✨SUMMER HIGHLIGHT✨

This summer we are showcasing some of the amazing things our members are doing! Next up is senior Modern Dance major, Regan Simeon!

"I spent the summer all over the country working with some amazing dance companies! I was fortunate enough to dance with @saltdance at their LINK Audition Festival, along with fellow SCCDancer Maddie Rocha. During the festival we learned from a variety of renowned teachers and worked intimately with choreographers Chloe Crenshaw and Maxi Riley. At the end of the festival we were able to premier two new works!

I also trained with @whimwhimgram with SCCDancer Bryna Quinn at their summer intensive with Anne Plamondon! We partook in daily technique classes, learned Whim repertoire and were able to explore Seattle with our peers. At the end of the intensive we premiered a new exploration with @anne.plamondon.productions

Lastly, I was lucky enough to return to @joffreyschool as a Social Media & Marketing Intern. It was so nice to reconnect with everyone and spend some time in NYC before school starts! While there, I got to see Ballet Hispanico at the Koch Theater and even got to reconnect with alumni @_kaitlyn.hernandez_ !"

✨SUMMER HIGHLIGHT✨

This summer we are showcasing some of the amazing things our members are doing! First up is junior Ballet & Modern Dance major, Macie Hawkins 🤩

"This summer I had the incredible opportunity to train with Pilobolus during their summer intensive with other SCCDancers Bryna Quinn and Kaylin Garcia. During the intensive, we were able to learn from past company members Matt Del Rosario and our own professor Annika Sheaff! The week was focused on group improvisation and collaborative choreography that helped develop a beautiful community built on trust. We also had the privilege to visit NYC and see the Pilobolus company perform at the Joyce Theater!"

Rounding up our executive farewells for the 2025-2026 school year is our lovely President, Lauren Garner!

Lauren is a senior Ballet major with a minor in Kinesiology, originally from Sarasota, Florida. A fun fact about Lauren is she loves making playlists (she has 28 so far), and her favorite color is purple. A big thank you to Lauren for all of your hard work this year and every year! 💜 by @tcuxte

Today's executive farewell is Vice President, Kinsey Ganson!

Kinsey is a junior Ballet major with a minor in Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship, originally from Germantown Hills, Illinois. A fun fact about Kinsey is that the number of undergraduate students at TCU is more than double the entire population of her tiny hometown, and her favorite color is blue. Kinsey will serve as the President of XTE next year! 🩵 by @tcuxte
