July 14-23, 2022. I remember this weekend being absolute bliss since I wasn't hosting anyone for the first time in weeks. Still somehow went to Quartino on Saturday and Sushi Rotary on Sunday so I obviously wasn't exhausted enough; but after finding a video I took of the state of my apartment during the middle of that week...I can understand why... Like I knew it was bad at the time I filmed it but watching it years later now it's so clear just how little I was taking care of myself its crazy. Live and learn lol.... And nobody will see that video, ever, because its so so so bad.... Anyway more video of commuting from work. Watching Steven Universe (fantastic show on recommendation from Drew). Hope was returning for these two weeks I was starting to leave the office before 7 but that just meant everything was crowded as fuck. Some clips of the window washers at work on the building next door. A happy couple, Blursed images from Friar Tuck, more views from the apt and such...you get the picture. by @td_steve

July 9-13 2022. Okayyyyy this was the week I remember a few people from my hire group got cut and thinking...O shit...my neck actually might be on the line here soon if I don't get some luck my way... and yet another weekend of hosting at the Studio I don't think I have quite felt the kind of burnout I was feeling in these moments. Which again all my fault lol, but in retrospect 2022 was a very full year of life in saying yes to almost anything and everything.... So, the waves were beautiful, and it was cool to explore north in Rogers Park (the farmers market)... final clip is something I would have otherwise forgot which is one of those inflatable guys on the top of the building across the way lmao. Oh and midway through this we see my favorite Friar Tuck bartender taking and showing everyone he was serving my wallet with the burn in the side that looks like an A**hole. A highlight of the month for sure :) by @td_steve

June 29 - July 4 2022. Ok I remember this time period being the beginning of me starting to get really burned out... Because pretty much the entire months of May and June I was doing something every weekend along with slowly realizing I made the hugest mistake joining the recruiting firm that was basically a MLM. Like was this exhaustion completely my fault? Completely. Regardless we partied and lost our mind all the same.... This week I took a break out front the building, still found a way to get to trivia each Wednesday (maybe this was the time I got sushi from Mariano's? who knows). Had an appointment during lunch for a blood draw. Thompson Center became a go to for me for Panda Express, so glad I got to see that place before Google bought it. Drew came again for a longer stay over the weekend, went to Quartino, saw the river walk and enjoyed the views of fireworks from my balcony for the fourth. A more relaxing weekend despite it being eventful which was surely needed.
Saw in my camera roll as well that Kofi took ownership of his house this week which was likely the highlight of the summer pulling that off. by @td_steve

June 19-26 2022. Ending of Pride fest weekend. Some shots going to and from work during the week...I think one of these (Jersey Shore song playing lol) is me hustling back to work after wiring the money for Kofi's house at Citi... Took the brown line to Trivia and had sushi from Mariano's for dinner I think. Lunch on the riverwalk and some views from the Office. Was picking up Drew from Union Station for the weekend, had a nice time with him seeing different parts of the city.... This was the last weekend of Pride and once Drew left Sunday, my studio's saloon door just kept swinging bc Luke from MSP was staying with me overnight for Abbott's float in the Pride Parade. Ended up putting on an Abbott shirt and throwing ass in the parade which was 10/10. Highly recommend marching for someone else's company because you get to be the least serious person there lmao. by @td_steve

This weekend Logan came to visit. We went to Smartbar Friday night. Saturday we walked around the loop and river walk before going to Taste of Randolf in the day on Saturday, had good ramen for dinner and wished we thought to bring jackets. Satuday night out was to Berlin (I think one of the last times I went there before it closed?). Sunday he left and I remember working on something for work but going down to Pridefest a block away just to see Cupcakke. by @td_steve

Footage from June 3-5, 2022. "When Everyone Tries To Evolve No Negativity Is Safe"

Ok remembering this period of my life a bit better because it was such a dichotomy. During the week I was realizing, "O shit, maybe this new job I got is actually, very very bad." But weekend after weekend I had fun plans that were a nice distraction. On this weekend some Minnesota friends, at minimum @kamiziebarth, @joshnordling, and @s_rklein came to visit the Chicago crew. We went to Happy Camper, and it was only fitting @miaatthemovies brought back the Wig Party. Which because this weekend also coincided with my hire group at Capgemini visiting Chicago it was attended more heavily by people I knew at my old job than I think any of our friends or people Mia and @hannahmgreenn knew? Then Ana and Kayla joined me for Korean BBQ and Sofi Tukker at Radius. Crazy busy train from some game getting let off downtown! by @td_steve

Monday after Still Woozy I took the train to Glenview IL where @rpinzino picked me up for the last event of the weekend, Six Flags Great America. I had my phone away the entire time at the park but as I got off the train I happened upon Glenview's Memorial Day Parade which was no joke, six minutes TOPS from start to finish. Truly such a funny experience and then a great day at Six Flags after :) by @td_steve

Footage from May 29, 2022. "Milwoozkye" Song: Drake by Still Woozy.

Did not realize looking back that this was all one day! Took the train from Macomb back to Chicago, and then immediately got onto the Hiawatha to go up to Milwaukee to meet @mbilladeau98 and her cousin so we could see Still Woozy after being robbed of his concert by Covid. Had a nice time exploring around Milwaukee before... went to a little street fair, caught this fun lady dancing with her dog, sat on a rooftop and what may or may not have been a fallout shelter. I remember Still Woozy being a funky dancer but, this makes sense. And never forget the Airbnb with the board game that will be my wedding gift to every couple till the end of time iykyk. by @td_steve
