Very soon I will be done with all my winter project home preparations and I will have this s1 up and running for @retro.tronic to do some magic on so we may have a modern-more complimenting swap tune for out swap harness and non oem chassis car builds. With winter coming I have been splitting all my time between harness work and getting my new shop and storage garage ready for the winter season. I have been focusing on thinning down my fleet of personal vehicles and finding at home sheltered storage for what I am keeping. If anyone is interested in my 1.8t vanagon before I tuck it away for winter it is for sale. 8500$ turn key (second pic)-located NY 12834 #s1 #1.8t #awp #swap #vw by @tdc_shop
For the guys running two legit SPAL slim fans I recommend upgrading from our single fan AC relay kit to a twin fan relay setup. We can make this so that AC runs both fans or just one- preference is customers choice. For the guys running a single cooling fan or two "off brand" slim fans our basic SESH ac/fan kit works just fine still. Cost is 199.99$ for twin fan relay, single fan is 129.99$ #AC #staycool #simple by @tdc_shop

Shown up, grill some burgers, hang out and bs about car stuff. Hang by the fire at night and just have a good time. Its not political, its not a social media event, its a field, cars, and like minded gear heads hanging out.....keep it simple. Looking forward to the weekend and shop talk with friends old and new! #mk1 @mk2 @mk3 #rabbit #scirocco #corrado #jetta by @tdc_shop
@TDC_shop killing it with the joint scirocco project with @Retro.Tronic. Engine bay has a fresh coat of paint. New brakes fitted all round, including modifying MK4 rear calipers to fit correctly. Now sat on a set of 15” BBS RA wheels. #RetroTronic #TDC_shop #EngineSwap by @tdc_shop
Today Karma was insistent on being my shadow sooooo he got to spend the morning in the garage as I finished up some wiring in the scirocco. He likes to just sit at the door looking out standing guard....its what Akita's do. I forget his "massiveness" some times as he is just "Karma" to me, but after seeing the normal dogs this past weekend @northeast_unity I am reminded 165lb pup is closer to a bear than a dog haha. To anyone who ever receives a little bonus fuzz present from him attached to a loom from me I am sorry but he gives me those eyes and it's hard to kick him out! To all those guys with four legged family member's cherish their company. They truly are devoted to the end. #akita #americanakita #shopdog #gaurdian by @tdc_shop
Its really this simple. We used a WUR cooler we bough through eBay- has 5/8 in/out nipples, good size and easily fits in front of an oem or similar rabbit radiator. The bigger your reservoir for cooler the better. More volume means harder to heat soak. We will have reservoirs for sale soon but you can make your own and the hose is just 5/8 heater hose. Oem rabbit radiator with a simple sheet metal shroud and real Spal 12inch fan. We have plenty of miles on this setup and iat temps are low and coolant temp rarely reaches fam switch temps (200degrees). It is advised to run a loop style heater valve found through most hot rod websites- this allows proper coolant flow through system even when heater core is not being circulated through. Hope this helps! #1.4t #ea811 #czta #dgxa #djxa by @tdc_shop
1.4Tsi ECU information When sending an ECU in for software make sure you have the correct ECU. A #CZTA ECU has 04E 907 309 AP and MED17.1.21 on the case. A #DGXA ECU has 04E 907 309 BT and MED17.1.27 on the case. A #DJXA ECU has 04E 907 309 BT and MED17.1.27 on the case. No other number on the case is important, nor is if the ECU came from an auto or manual car. It’s important to note that these ECUs aren’t interchangeable. If you have an engine and don’t have an ECU, we can source the necessary core. #RetroTronic #EngineSwap by @tdc_shop
