Diddy’s trial count verdicts confirm that women of color are not generally believed, trusted, protected, respected or honored as victims of crime in the legal system or overall in American society. I am so disappointed and disgusted this morning with the unfairly racial and gender balanced jury.

We women had made so much progress across the board in my 67 year lifetime. However, MAGA, patriarchy, misogyny, racial perceptions, racism, physical and sexual abuse and devaluing of women and specifically women of color is on the rise.

I sympathize with the witness who backed out of testifying because she knows in this current society more than ever money talks and bullshit walks. I pray for Cassie, her beautiful family and the other woman of color who testified for baring their souls guts hanging out to do the right thing, show themselves strong and mighty to seek justice. Lady Justice just got abused just like these victims 😪 by @teach212
