Prayers That Work and
The Companion Workbook
Prayers That Work and The Companion Workbook help you build a prayer life grounded in Scripture and supported by obedience. Created by bestselling author and international speaker Pastor Kevin L. A. Ewing, these books work together to help you grow in faith, deepen your understanding of God's Word, and apply biblical instruction to daily life.
Prayers That Work: Using Scriptures That Bring Change offers Scripture-based prayers for a closer walk with God. The collection includes prayers for salvation, repentance, forgiveness, faith, affirming God's promises, and beginning your day. Other prayers address dreams, the mind, depression, oppression, confusion, peace, and limitations.
Family prayers cover children, husbands, wives, marriages, and generational blessings. You will also find prayers for blessings, finances, favor, singles, healing, and the workplace. Prayers addressing spiritual warfare include terminating evil covenants, prayer against evil altars, and divine protection.
The Companion Workbook, Learning to Pray the Word of God and Do It, builds on the original prayer book. Designed for use alongside Prayers That Work, the workbook guides you through studying Scripture, developing your own prayers, and aligning your actions with God's instructions.
The workbook teaches a practical five-step process:
Name the need. Clearly identify what you are bringing before God.
Find it in the Word. Study what Scripture says about your situation.
Bring it back to Him. Pray God's Word and keep His promises central to your request.
Do the works. Examine what Scripture requires of you and respond with faith and obedience.
Watch for fruit. Record your progress as you put your faith into practice.
Through self-evaluations, reflection questions, practical exercises, written assignments, action steps, weekly challenges, prayers, and declarations, you examine your beliefs and prayer habits. These activities encourage you to apply what you learn and develop greater clarity, confidence, biblical understanding, consistency, and discipline.

You have prayed. Now learn how to pray the Word.
You pray. You believe. You care. You show up. But sometimes change still feels out of reach.
What if the missing piece isn't simply praying more, but learning to bring your needs before God through His Word, understand what Scripture says about your situation, and align your actions with what you pray?
Prayers That Work: The Companion Workbook is a practical, step-by-step guide designed to help you move beyond simply reading prayers to developing your own Scripture-centered prayer life.
Created as the companion to Kevin L. A. Ewing's Prayers That Work: Using Scriptures That Bring Change, this workbook teaches a practical prayer protocol:
NAME THE NEED. Clearly identify what you are bringing before God.
FIND IT IN THE WORD. Discover what Scripture says about your situation.
BRING IT BACK TO HIM. Learn to pray God's Word instead of letting the problem dominate your prayers.
DO THE WORKS. Examine what the Word requires of you and respond in faith and obedience.
WATCH FOR FRUIT. Pay attention to what changes as you put your faith into action. taken in Bahamas by @teacher.kevinlaewing
