Receiving this award is a testament to Colossians 3:23-24: 'Work for the Lord, not for human masters.'

When we give our all for a higher purpose, success follows naturally. I’m grateful for this recognition and the divine guidance on my journey.

Aww, and just like that our school holiday is OVER... but let me share a sweet little reel of a wonderful Teacher Meet-Up that I attended at the end of Term 3! 🥰

It was a morning filled with laughter, creativity, good company and plenty of happy teacher faces (because we got FREE stationery thanks to Bostik 🦎 & Pineurple!).

A HUGE thank you once again to our incredible sponsors:

@bostikza @pineurple_za

I am a HUUUGE Bostik fan, and my favourite product of Bostik is their Prestik, I only believe in “the one with the gecko”. 😂♥️

A special thank you to our awesome organizer @dancejuffie for always reaching out to sponsors and for all the many things she does behind the scenes to make this day possible. We are truly grateful for your efforts and for making time in your busy schedule to help build this amazing teacher community. We’ve really come a long way, and it’s incredible to see how this group has grown into such a beautiful community! ❤️

A day filled with curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and innovation! 🚀✨

Today’s STEAMAC experience reminded me that the best educators never stop learning. 🥹

The greatest investment we can make is in our own growth, because every new idea we gain has the power to transform a classroom, inspire our learners, and uplift our colleagues.

I’m super grateful for the connections, the collaboration, and the opportunity to keep growing. Here’s to learning today so we can inspire tomorrow. 💙

Good company, creative minds, and a safe space to simply be. ✨🥹♥️

From bingo icebreakers and creative pottery painting to laughter, conversations, and a little friendly competition, our George Teacher Meetup was filled with connection, creativity, and community. 💛

A huge thank you to our amazing host @dancejuffie & our awesome sponsors:

@elvisbrewco
@pinkglitterkzn
@flipfile.sa
@donau.za
@kikkiandfranki
@ctpstationery

It was a day of remembering that teachers need villages too, not just children. We also need a safe space filled with people who understand, encourage, and remind us that we’re not alone. ♥️

Who said Maths can’t be fun? 🤩

We turned fruit jubes and toothpicks into 3D objects! By building cubes, pyramids, prisms and more, our learners could see, touch and create the shapes they were learning about.

Concrete learning helps abstract concepts come to life, making Maths meaningful, memorable and exciting! ✨

Hands-on learning + happy learners who could eat their jubes afterwards 😂 = a winning combination! ❤️

Holiday for who? 🎭

I had the privilege of working this holiday (yep, that’s right, it was a privilege). 😅

At the KKNK’s youth festival, our learners, from ECKED, were exposed to so much more than just performances - they experienced the heart of the arts. From dance performances and theatre to powerful workshops led by industry professionals such Dean Smith, Early B, Coenie de Villiers, etc. They got a glimpse into what it really takes to build a career in this space.

What stood out most is that the arts aren’t limited to being on stage. There’s a place for everyone - whether it’s performing, producing, managing, marketing, or supporting creatives behind the scenes.

Moments like these remind us why investing in the arts is so important. It builds confidence, creativity, and opens doors learners didn’t even know existed. The exposure, the inspiration, and the real-life insight…truly priceless. 🥹

Here’s to nurturing talent, broadening horizons, and reminding our youth that their creativity has a place in the world 🤍

Doing a little throwback to last year’s Golf Day, because I’m so excited for this year’s one. ⛳️✨

People who know me personally, know I’m low-key just there for the beautiful greenery around me. 🏌️‍♀️⛳️💚

Grateful hearts after a beautiful #georgeteachersmeet ! 🌸✨

A big thank you to @dancejuffie for organizing such a refreshing and meaningful gathering for teachers. Your effort, time, and heart behind this event did not go unnoticed. Thank you for also bringing amazing organisations like @stitchedpe , @stick_to_it_teachers , @ilovepopco & @daisy_stamps on board to sponsor and be part of the day.

It was such a special time to pause, connect, laugh, and simply enjoy being together as teachers. Moments like these remind us that we’re not running this race alone. 🍃📚🥹

Ending the year with a heart full of gratitude. 🥹♥️ As I reflect on the greatest highlight of my year (and career), I give all glory to God, who made me more than able and gave me the strength to work hard. 🙏🏽

By His grace, I was awarded NTA Provincial Winner for Excellence in Teaching Natural Sciences (2025). This year has been a living testimony of God’s goodness and His power.

I am deeply thankful for my parents, my Ashley, my siblings, my family, friends, colleagues and all of my learners over the years - your love, prayers, encouragement, and belief in me carried me more than you know. 🥹💕

As we step into 2026, may we trust Him boldly, work faithfully, and believe that even greater things are still to come.
