Deciding to become a digital nomad educator was a choice by accident that I never regretted. While it has its highs and lows (hello sucky internet!) having the freedom to work in any part of the world is still a better option than being stuck in the four corners of a classroom. Yes I do miss the camaraderie that teachers have, but being the explorer and little rebel that I am, school is not the place I know I can better help students grow and love learning. by @teacherdotstravels

In an age where everything is instant and things move faster than a speeding bullet, this trip reminded me of what life is all about; we don’t need to chase or tick off places to see. I never intended to be a digital nomad educator, but when doors of opportunities opened for me, I was glad that I already had the flexibility of teaching my students remotely anywhere in the world, and that in itself is kinda chic.

When I was cajouled by my friend to travel to Hong Kong, I was hesitant because I knew Hong Kong was an expensive city. So I was quite surprised when I learned that I was able to stick to my budget of P25,000 (including the RT ticket).

This trip reminded me that traveling well isn't about spending more, it's about spending intentionally.

This park has something for everyone. Love to read, visit the mini library that looks like a teepee, want to go on a picnic, pick a spot and lay your picnic spread, want kids to play and be active, there's a Philippine animal inspired playground. Whatever you feel like doing, this park will welcome you with open arms.

Heaven as imagined by human hands.

Let's have a quick world history in this piece of art. During the Byzantine Empire, Justinian I ordered to build a lot of churches to make a political statement by using Christianity, and San Vitale in Ravenna was one of them.

This 1500 years old church is not just a place to sit and reflect, but a place to be drawn in awe by the artistry. This church is known for the use of tiny pieces of glass and gold tiles creating a mosaic art. The central image is that of Christ seated on a blue globe surrounded by angels and saints and the gold background was a symbol of eternal light.
