A summer of learning the origins of textiles. Is it an animal, plant and synthetic textile? How do I read my clothing labels? And how does this affect the world I live in today?

When we start to learn the answers to these questions it makes this big world seem that much smaller ✨

Thank you Little Legacy for your skills, creativity and curiosity this summer 💛💛💛!!

Our seed project 🌱🌱! The seed feeds us. The stem clothes us. One amazing plant does both! ✨

Last Saturday, I spent my morning with @teachhilo for Bench Painting Day at @mifflinsquarepark and talked with founder @mirandag.lopez about their upcoming summer series of free art + wellness workshops for youth in Philly 🎨✨

There are a couple of ways to support this program, including volunteering or donating through the link in @teachhilo’s bio to support with workshop supplies 🤝🏾

Looking forward to all that’s to come with Teach Hilo 🫂💛
