never in a million years did i think i’d find my way to someone in the military, but life has a crazy way of showing that sometimes change can be a good thing.
in the last two months, life has proven to me that distance, limited time to talk to each other, having to remember all the things that have happened since you left to write in the next letter, all while remaining mentally strong can be one of the hardest things someone can experience. but at the end of the day, it’s all worth it when you finally get to have the person you love back in your arms. even if it’s just for a short time, love knows no time limit. it knows no distance.
i can’t express how proud i am of you for accomplishing one of the hardest things a man can do. you did it, all on your own. you never gave up and you pushed through the hardest of challenges, and came out stronger than when you started. you’re mentally and physically stronger now.
all the weeks of early mornings, screaming instructors and hardcore training have proven that you are capable of all the things you think you can’t do. you are such an inspiration and i can’t wait to see where life takes you. no matter where the air force sends you, my love is always with you, and i’ll always be in your corner. i love you, no matter where you are. 💙 by @teaganallsup64
