Chuck Varga, aka GWAR’s Sexecutioner, was someone I looked up to. He was a talented artist and a dynamic performer. Blending both physical and mental acumen is rare indeed.
I saw Chuck step onstage after a hiatus at the epic 12.31.1999 GWAR show and slay. I got advice from him before I went on tour as Gor-Gor in 2014. When he did one show with us on that tour (NYC), he was an absolute joy to share a dressing room and a stage with.
As I was struggling for respect, he was far nicer to me than he needed to be - treating me as a fellow member of the stuntman fraternity.
But today, @chuckvarga passed away. What a loss to the world. by @team_leeper

Started #fireemblemthreehouses this weekend. Finally. And I’m digging it. Obviously. Looks great on Switch 2.

Chris Hero appreciation post:
Met this dude in January 1999 - his 5th show, my first (untrained, booked cuz I got GWAR on the show).
He got me in touch with @mnmissanna who gave me the connection to Eddie Sharkey/Terry Fox to become a trained wrestler.
Chris was one of the first wrestlers I brought in when I took over cutscene mocap for SmackDown vs Raw (SVR2010) and he did a great job as expected. Also introduced me to @claudiocsro who did the same for SVR2011.
Chris was kind enough to make time for me after #aewallin this year, where we chatted at a hole-in-the-wall Indian place until the wee morning hours. Dude’s memory is a steel trap and his passion for wrestling is unquestioned. But we also talked cats, hoops, hip-hop, and our dearly departed friend @barbedwirebill.
Then he smartly thought to grab these pics at 3:30am.
Oh, and that @kennyomegamanx @willospreay All In main event everyone is gushing about? Chris was the coach on it.
And finally, he’s one of the only other people I know who can keep up with Outkast’s B.O.B, one of my favorite songs.
So yeah. Super proud of my boy and extremely grateful we got to catch up! taken in Wembley Stadium by @team_leeper

Sure, he hit me in the head with a thrown guitar while we were touring… but when @purgasonlegion puts out a new album with his band @usbastards, you can bet I get it!
Here I was needing fuel for a rage-induced workout tomorrow anyway. And for the next day. And the next day… by @team_leeper

I am absolutely thrilled that I finally got to see @melonbatakeagogo again! It had been ~5 years. They’re still great performers; the music still rocks; and the members, staff & fans remembered me. It honestly felt like home. I hope to see them again soon!

I went to 2 wrestling shops - both in Suidobashi: Tokon Shop & Champion. The former is an official #newjapanprowrestling store; the latter is an independent store run by a kind and passionate wrestling fan. Love what I got at both!

I only had a chance to play 2 rounds of #maimai on this trip: once solo and soon after with @tomoko_jasmine_leeper. Still tons of fun, may have gotten easier?
