Sixth stop - Palm Springs goodness!

We loved loved loved this home we hired in the beautiful desert of Palm Springs 🌵🏜️☀️

The heat ☀️ the family time ❤️ swimming, drinking, grilling, chilling, family games, family chats - just perfect!

If we lived in LA this would be our retreat - so cool to of experienced it! taken in Palm Springs, California by @team_wren

DISNEYLAND! Our fourth stop was Anahiem!

The best family time all together with extended family staying at the most family fun hotel that kept the kids busy all night long on the slides, pools and basketball court while us adults could make the most of pool side happy hour and snacks! 🛝⛹️‍♂️🏊‍♂️🍷🍻🍕
This place was a true highlight of the trip!

We managed to tick off all the big rides that were open in the two days we had! 🎡🎢 Met Donald 🦆 and the kids got all the famous churros, corn dogs, pizza planet, popcorn and of course turkey legs!
I even put my foot down and said we are doing one little girly ride the famous tea cups and everyone had the biggest laugh 🫖

My highlight was taking Isaac to Radiator Springs, the place of all his childhood memories and racing in Lightening. Of course I was too busy enjoying this moment so didn’t get any photos! And also seeing the joy from the boys for conquering the big drop while we had a well earned beer 🍻

Didn’t love the rushing at Disneyland so Disney California was my fave, more chilled so more time to sit and relax!

Hollywood/Studio City… Our base to explore LA! I really loved LA and its collection of neighbourhoods that we managed to really get around in the time we were there! It’s a big spread out busy place but each pocket had its own identity. Tip - you need a car!
Doing a tour of Warner Bro Studios where all the movies and shows are made, such a highlight for Ruben to see where his fave Young Sheldon is filmed 🎥 and us to have a coffee at Central Perk ☕️
Experiencing the NFL 🏈 at Sofi Stadium 🏟️ and a real feel of American culture 🇺🇸 and what matters to them, going to Universal studios and doing all the fun rides with all the cool movie themes 🎟️ Simpson land was a hit and Ruben got his donut 🍩 and of course we all loved Harry Potter land 🪄The 80/90s tween in me loved Bev hills 90210 and the me of today loved the vintage shops and vibe of Melrose! The boys loved to see the home ground of their fave team the Lakers in downtown LA and we got awesome views at Griffith Observatory of the Hollywood sign!
Think we have done LA so we have ticked this one off for good, but it’s a cool cool place and the NFL was absolute bucket list, up there with one of the coolest experiences ever! taken in Hollywood - Los Angeles by @team_wren

Lots of snow happened around Christchurch with the super cold day on Sunday so on Monday after a morning of watching Isaac swim we went on a scenic drive to find it ❄️🩵 by @team_wren
