Last week we competed at Formula Student France! 🏎️

A completely new adventure, our first competition abroad. The week started with mechanical scrutineering, a major milestone for the team as it was the first time for us. While we unfortunately did not pass all scrutineering, we are incredibly proud of how far we have come. The following days the team worked hard to improve the AX2 based on the feedback we received. We also competed in the static disciplines:

• Business Plan Presentation: 13th place with 54,5 points, a huge improvement scoring more than 20 points higher compared to last year!
• Cost & Manufacturing: 30th place a very pleasing result for our first participation!
• Engineering Design: 31st place for our first time a result to be proud of!

Most of all, we gained invaluable knowledge from the judges, scrutineers and fellow teams. A huge thank you to everyone at Formula Student France and all the teams who openly shared their expertise and welcomed us and our first car the AX2!

Last but definitely not least! Thank you to all our sponsors and supporters for helping us make this dream a reality! None of this would have been possible without your support.

FORMULA STUDENT DAY 1 🇫🇷

Yesterday marked our first day at Formula Student France. After arriving the day prior and setting up our campsite and pitbox, we were ready to start the first full day at the competition site. We started the day early at the pits to make sure the car was ready for mechanical scrutineering. The whole team worked together to fix the last few things before heading to scrutineering for the first time in our team’s history. 🏎️

Unfortually, we weren’t able to pass scrutineering on first try, but the team is more motivated than ever before to fix everything that we are able to fix. We are still very proud to enter scrutineering and being at this international competition. The team is grateful for the opportunity to be here and learn as much as possible. The next few days will be filled with static events and working in the pits.

The day ended with a huge storm that hit the camp site. Our hearts go out to all the teams that have been affected by the storm. ❤️

We would like to thank our partner, Infinite Simulation Systems, for providing the Ansys simulation software. Thanks to this comprehensive software package, we were able to simulate our designs and verify within a virtual environment that the design would met our expectations before actually manufacturing them. This helped us move forward with the development of the AX2, resulting in a chassis we are proud of! Thank you Infinite Simulation Systems, we are moving forward together. 🔥

Dankzij dit zeer uitgebreide softwarepakket konden we onze ontwerpen simuleren om te checken of deze voldoet naar onze verwachtingen in de virtuele omgeving, voordat we ze daadwerkelijk produceerden. Dit zorgt ervoor dat we verdere stappen hebben kunnen zitten met de ontwikkeling van de AX2, resulterend in een chassis waar we trots op zijn. ROLL OUT 2026 🏎️

Afgelopen woensdag presenteerde we de AX2, onze tweede raceauto, aan de wereld voor de eerste keer. De afgelopen paar weken heeft het hele team ongelofelijk hard gewerkt om de auto op tijd af te krijgen. We willen iedereen bedanken voor het komen en de support die we hebben ontvangen de afgelopen tijd. ❤️

Dit is nog niet het einde van het verhaal. De komende paar weken gaan we nog harder werken om de auto volledig klaar te hebben voor FS FRANCE aan het einde van augustus. Dit is pas het begin.

We are moving forward! ⚡️

Last Wednesday we presented the AX2, our second racecar, to the world of the first time. The last few weeks the team has been working incredibly hard to finish the car in the time. We want to thank everyone for coming, supporting us and helping us move forward. ❤️

This story is not over yet, the next few weeks we will be working even harder to make sure the car will be completely ready in time for FS FRANCE near the end of august. This is only the beginning.
