Some gear gets the job done.
The right gear changes what’s possible.

Get Pro Audio gear that combines advanced performance controls, full-size jog wheels, expressive performance pads and a workflow design.

But the controller is only part of the setup.

At Backline Music Gear, we think about the complete rig, controllers, professional audio, monitoring, cables, cases, accessories and the details that turn individual pieces of equipment into a system that works.

Because buying gear is easy.

Building the right rig is different.

That’s where BMG comes in.

Your sound. Your setup. Your next move.

What equipment do you need for live sound?

A professional live sound setup starts with the right equipment for the performers, venue and audience.

For most live performances, the essential setup may include a PA system, speakers, microphones, mixer, stage monitors, microphone stands, cables, power distribution and the instruments and backline required by the performers.

For a band, that can also mean:

Drums & percussion
Guitar and bass amplifiers
Keyboards & stands
Vocal and instrument microphones
Digital or analog mixer
Main PA speakers
Stage monitors or in-ear monitoring
Audio cables, power & accessories
Cases, racks & protective equipment

What is the difference between live sound and backline?

Live sound equipment is generally the audio system used to amplify, mix and monitor a performance. Backline generally refers to the instruments and supporting equipment performers use on stage, such as drum kits, amplifiers, keyboards and related stage gear.

The right setup depends on the venue size, number of performers, instrumentation, input requirements and monitoring needs, there isn’t one system that fits every performance.

At Backline Music Gear, we provide professional music gear, instruments, live sound equipment, backline solutions and accessories for musicians, bands, touring artists, venues, studios, schools, churches, corporate events and live productions.

REAL GEAR. REAL MUSIC.

POV: You Finally Built the Drum Setup You’ve Always Wanted.

The perfect drum setup isn’t about having more gear.

It’s about having the right gear exactly where you want it.

The drums that respond to your touch.
The cymbals that complete your sound.
The snare that cuts exactly the way you hear it in your head.
The hardware that disappears underneath you.
And the sticks you reach for without thinking.

From the practice room to the studio to the stage, your setup becomes part of how you play.

Acoustic Drums
Cymbals
Snares
Drum Hardware
Sticks & Mallets
Stick Bags & Cases
Recording & Drum Accessories

Build the kit around the drummer you’re becoming.

Now the important question…

What are you upgrading FIRST, drums, snare, cymbals or hardware? Comment the word SETUP, if you need assistance with the right gear below.

BUILD THE SPACE THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO CREATE.

Sometimes the next song starts with the right environment.

A keyboard that feels right.
Monitors you can trust.
A mixer that keeps everything within reach.
And a recording setup that lets you go from an idea to a finished track without breaking your creative flow.

Whether you’re building a home recording studio, upgrading your music production workstation, or putting together a professional keyboard and synth setup, every piece should serve the music.

Keyboards & Synths
Mixers & Controllers
Microphones
Studio Monitors
Studio Headphones
Recording & Production Gear
Audio Interfaces & Accessories

Build around your sound, not somebody else’s setup.

What’s the ONE thing you’d upgrade in this studio first? Need help with your setup? Comment GEAR, below:
