Happy 13th Birthday Lynaea!!

I remember the day of your birth like it was yesterday. You were 10 days late, and everyone was pressuring me, “You need to induce.” I refused. I knew that you would come when you were ready. I wasn’t planning a home birth, but you made sure to do things your way, not my way 😂

I still feel like I have to wait for you…always last in the car, last to get ready for bed or last to clean up… BUT you are always first to check up on me, first to cuddle and always first to lend a helping hand or sing a song with me.

Lynaea, I love you so much. You are literally the best thing I ever had to wait for 🤍 by @teambahsous

The day you were born was the most frightening yet most meaningful day of our lives.

It sparked a deeper sense of purpose in us—one we had never known before. We became parents!!

Me and @taniosbahsous went from being two kids ourselves, barely able to comprehend what it meant to be responsible for a tiny little human… let alone how to raise a remarkable one like you Olivia.

And from that moment, we’ve been on a journey: learning, growing, loving, failing, crying, and laughing.

I can officially say I have the bragging rights to receiving the very first punches and kicks from you. Inside my belly, you would stop me in my tracks! I could feel your tiny little feet from the outside, and truthfully, I loved every second of it.
These past few years you have blossomed into a remarkable young lady, and it is very important for me to tell you something: it isn’t your accolades that make you lovable. It’s your entire being.

It’s the fierceness in your eyes.

It’s the sweetness in your smile.

It’s the love you have for others.

It’s the fire you have in your soul.

Don’t ever forget how loved you are.

Watching you blow out 16 candles brought tears to my eyes—joyful tears, but also tears of disbelief. You’re growing, and it’s happening too quickly.

I wish time would freeze. I wish I could hold you a little longer. Thankfully, I can still wrap you in my arms and still carry you like a baby. We tested it last week. 😂

Watching you grow into the remarkable young woman you are has been my greatest privilege. Thank you for choosing me to be your mom, and thank you for letting me be this close to you. I treasure our bond with every piece of me. I love you so much.

Have you ever had someone’s love that you felt like you could literally do anything? That’s how I feel.

Dad @taniosbahsous and mom @teambahsous, thank you for every sacrifice, every “you got this,” every moment you believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

I know for a fact that none of my success in Muay Thai would have been possible without your love and support and for that I’m so grateful.

Mom, thank you ❤️ I don’t know what else I can say! You are the selfless mom behind my journey to becoming a world champion.

Your meal preps and endless driving to practices are just the top of the iceberg. You do so much more than that. You’ve cried with me through pain, lifted me with your strength, and celebrated every small victory as if it were your own.

You are also my teacher and you help me through my homework and if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have content! You are the one behind the camera, where we can’t see you but your always there. Always.

You’re the heart that holds everything together. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! I love you ❤️
