Thank you to all the race sponsors and partners that make it possible for us to put this race on each year! We couldn’t do it without you!

We’ll be back with more updates from the weekend but for now we still need to let this one sink in!

The peloton just got a whole lot stronger! 🚀

We are excited to officially welcome London Academy and Team Empella to the British Women’s Team Cup for 2026 - both teams have raced in the Cup in previous years! 🇬🇧✨

Both squads bring serious pedigree, tactical depth, and some of the brightest talents in the UK domestic scene. If you thought last season was fast, buckle up - the stakes just went up!

Who to watch:
🔹 London Academy: Known for precision and rider development. Expect them to be right at the sharp end of the race.
🔹 Team Empella: Versatile, fierce, and always ready to disrupt the status quo.

Drop a ⚡️ or a 👋 in the comments to welcome the riders to the BWTC family!

We can't wait to see these jerseys lighting up the road. Let’s go racing! 🏁🏆 by @teamempella

My first national omnium champs…✨🤭

I had no expectations for myself going into this event or to even qualify for the omnium looking at how strong the line up was… but sometimes when you see an opportunity you’ve just got to take a risk and go for it🥹

Was such a special feeling to qualify and to be in the mix with the best riders in the country/world!! 🤩

Always believe ⭐

Wow, what an amazing past couple of weeks!
I’m incredibly honoured to have been awarded Young Volunteer of the Year by @britishcycling this year! It’s been such an incredible journey over the past eight years, and none of it would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family, friends, and clubs — @nottinghamclarion , @beestonrc , and @teamempella.

A huge thank you to @specialized_nottingham for supporting both myself and my clubs, and to all the teammates and riders I’ve had the privilege to coach and cycle with over the years.

Thank you also to Sportsbeat for the brilliant articles published across over 200 sites, and to @bbceastmidlands Today for the amazing coverage.

Once again, thank you to @britishcycling and @bceastmids, all the other nominees, board members, and everyone in the cycling community. I can’t wait to see what next year brings with the continued support of British Cycling, @specialized_brand_stores , and the new friends and connections I’ve made — here’s to making the cycling community even better! 🚴‍♂️💪 taken in The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, by IHG by @teamempella
