This is your sign to always do your self exams. If you feel anything suspicious advocate for yourself and demand diagnostics and biopsies to rule any possibilities of cancer. I met the weakest version of myself when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but I also met the strongest version of myself. God got me and he has you, push through! 🙏🏽💪🏽🎀

🎀Every single night we pray that our T*Ts stay HEALTHY 🎀

🩷 Self awareness: Know how your breasts normally look and feel, and report changes to a doctor.

🩷 Screening: Get regular annual mammograms starting at age 45 (or age 40 by choice).

🩷 Know history: Check your family medical history for any inherited risks

🩷 You are your best advocate- push for more testing- ultrasounds, mammograms, biopsies.

🎀 I was 37 when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I had to push for a biopsy after I had an ultrasound and mammogram.

- mammogram looked “a little “suspicious” but I was told because I was young it was probably just an infection or changes from breast feeding.
- ultrasound looked fine.

If I did not push for a biopsy and more invasive testing my diagnosis could have turned out a lot differently🙏🏽.

All month long, a portion of proceeds from every pink diamond piece — and every loose pink diamond — goes directly to HairToStay- helping patients keep their hair throughout treatment.

In 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent aggressive chemotherapy. HairToStay holds a very dear place in my heart because they are the reason I was able to give my 2-year-old daughter the comfort of believing that her mommy wasn’t sick.
