Starting at just 10 years old, Izzy faced osteosarcoma with fierce strength, grit, and grace. Through every treatment and surgery, she never stopped advocating and putting others first. Her fight was never just her own. It was for every child who would face this disease next.

💛 SESSION x TeamIzzy 💛

What an incredible pair of classes.

A huge thank you to SESSION Pilates for partnering with us, and to everyone who showed up, wore gold, moved with us, donated, shared, and helped raise awareness for childhood cancer.

For TeamIzzy, Going Gold has always been about making sure these kids are seen and these conversations keep happening. Izzy said it best: “The more we talk about it, the more people will know and the more they can help.”

That’s exactly what this community did.

And because Izzy was a dancer from the time she was two, there was something especially meaningful about bringing people together through movement in her honor. We’re pretty sure she would have loved it.

We also want to thank the amazing community partners who helped us fill the swag bags and made the morning even more special. We’re so grateful for the way people continue to show up for TeamIzzy and for kids with cancer.

Last Friday Calicos celebrated GO GOLD, bringing awareness to childhood cancer and how it impacts families.

Just like we PINK OUT the country in October, we need to GO GOLD in September, and the Team Izzy Foundation and the Martin Family are committed to this initiative in honor of their precious daughter, Isabelle “Izzy” Grace Martin who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2020.
