Sometimes the hardest part of adopting new technology isn’t the technology itself, it’s figuring out where to actually put it.

When the Cape 31 Class started using RaceSense, that was exactly the problem. The ideal mast position was already taken. Every boat in the fleet had instruments there.
So Vakaros and MadMounts got to work together, found the right spot, built a dedicated mount, and made sure the setup could be replicated consistently across the fleet.

Clean install, works perfectly, plays nicely with everything else already on board.

Mount better, sail better‼️

Whether you’re racing with RaceSense or not, follow these top tips to keep your Atlas as accurate as possible: avoid carbon brackets, ❌ they can impair GNSS performance. Magnets or other electronics nearby? ❌ They can skew your compass - an accurate heading is important!

✅ Use a plastic bracket - 3D printed is a great option
✅ Keep your Atlas clear of ferrous parts.
✅ Mount above any other instruments for an improved skyview.
