@nanajocreations has been making useful things with her scrap fabric, but they’re not selling as much as they should… so we agreed they need some packaging. Today, I revisited my old life as a package designer and made some tests for a few of them… reusable napkins, two kinds of bookmarks, and a cord organizer. by @teamtsunami6

👻 Breaking news: The undead have better fashion utility than you. 👻
Meet the polka-dot ghost who finally solved the single biggest flaw in wardrobe history. Yes, it has pockets!
It’s cute, it’s spooky, and it’s deeply judging every pair of fake pockets in your closet right now.

Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day to everyone, but especially to my Native Hawaiian grandma (and Auntie, who we just lost.. and Tutu, who has been watching over us for many years), who single-handedly disproves the myth that “aloha” just means hello and goodbye. 🌺🍍

Here’s to the original stewards of the islands, and to the women who remind me everyday that Indigenous culture isn’t a museum exhibit—it’s very alive, very sharp, and usually telling me I’m beautiful (U’i’lani).

Protecting queer joy at @tracypride.ca today… even if the joy was mostly blocking out the protester with my I Believe flag 😜 and @jb_monkeygrrrl cheering me on. taken in Tracy, California by @teamtsunami6

@alameda_pride has begun!! Since I’m not supposed to lift anything, @jb_monkeygrrrl decided to use some magic to set up, thanks to witch’s hat and magic wand from @nanajocreations 👻🌈 taken in Chochenyo Park 2430 Encinal Ave, Alameda, CA by @teamtsunami6

I have a small collection of Halloween stickers this year.. grab them while you can! We have a Halloween gnome, Ride With Pride brooms, a Hexalotl (why hex a little when you can hexalotl?), and three ghosts ready for a night out (let’s go ghouls!).

My body has developed a fascinating new hobby: BETRAYAL.
.
Okay, it’s not new.. but this was a new level. Thursday about 4am, my mom (@nanajocreations) took me to the ER with a kidney stone (I knew it, and unfortunately I was right). They gave me meds a sent me home to wait for it to pass. Friday about 4pm, something was very wrong and my mom took me back (@jb_monkeygrrrl took over at some point).. they put me in fast track at first, but that led to a formal ultrasound, then told I was getting admitted while getting an iv for the CT. So I slept overnight in the ER (super fun), got taken to surgery from there for a stent in my kidney, then stayed in observation until this afternoon. So what they missed on Thursday was the stone.. she confirmed with the fluid backed up into my kidney. It’s 5mm and was blocking my kidney, so they put in a stent to get my kidney working again (it is), and I’ll talk to the urologist this week to plan the laser to break it up, wait for the pieces to pass, then take out the stent. by @teamtsunami6
