Our Win of the Week goes to @uclmensrugby 🏉

First BUCS Wednesday in Tier 1, and the Men’s 1 made it count with a 61-7 win at Kent. 💜

Here’s how the team told it:
“It was a tight match-up in the first 10 minutes, collision after collision, and we thought they wouldn’t let up. Then we had a breakaway on the right side of the pitch, a chain of offloads leading to debutant Matthew Li scoring our first try in the 11th minute. After our 10, Elliot White, slotted the conversion, Kent’s heads went down instantly. From then on we played our game and the scoreline tells the tale. The Kent boys put up a good fight, but we came into the 80 minutes confident we’d make an impression in Tier 1, and that we did. On to the next.”

Stand out players: Dan Lam (2) and Matthew Li (8) 👏

Huge congrats to everyone involved. Go well in the next one! 🔥
