10 Things You Probably Don’t Know About Us (in case you care 😂)

1. Baseball is in our blood - Dad played pro and Tio coaches pro

2. Mom has a Masters in Sports Psych - so yea, the mindset talks on the way to school are VERY real 😁

3. Zeke & Zay are 11u & 8u this fall and the competition between them is OFF THE CHARTS 📈. If you have boys close in age… you know.

4. Zeke dreams of playing in the bigs for the @dodgers

5. Papi & Zay are big jokesters. Pranks are a part of our life 😂

6. God 1st Always. Playing for an audience of 1 👆✝️

7. We believe character > stats. Baseball is a training field for life.

8. Baseball taught our perfectionist son how to fail - and keep showing up anyway 🙌

9. Mom pulled an all nighter and built our 1st mental training tool after a series of tough strike outs and quickly sinking confidence. Praise God it worked and now it helps other kids go from strike-outs to consistent + confident hits too! 💪⚾️

10. Our mornings start with a 15-min mindset routine + making the bed. 🥇Winning starts WAY before game time.

✝️Our mission? To build unshakable mindsets that lead to more WINS … in sports & in LIFE for the glory of God! 🙏

That’s a triple! ⚾️ And the best part??
.
The commentary and encouragement from the HIGHLY competitive brother filming the at bat ❤️
.
They fight, they challenge each other, and they compete over EVERYTHING…
.
But at the end of the day, they encourage each other to win in a way no one else can.
.
They believe BIG for each other, and hold each other accountable to God’s word.
.
It’s so much bigger than baseball ⚾️✝️🙌

👎 He knows this was a terrible at bat, and he is also learning not to let one mistake take up too much space in his mind.

Fail fast. 🔥. Learn + move on quickly… memory of a goldfish.

Training the mind is the most important thing you can do for success in baseball .. and in life.

Solid advice from baseball moms 🤩💪⚾️

What would your player say if we asked them this question? by @teamvazquezbaseball

We talk about how champions have discipline, work ethic, and commit to extra practice time …

Let’s also talk about the “little” life things champions do … like carrying the bags, holding the doors, and speaking life as gentleman of God 💪🙌

Champion behavior on the field and off… that’s what we are trying to build. ⚾️

And we are blessed to have families around us doing this same 🙌❤️⚾️

That’s all I’m sayin’ 😂⚾️

But seriously- bad calls are part of the game (and part of life).

Teaching your player to manage their mind by “controlling the controllables” is super important.

You can’t control the umpires - and when you learn to expect + accept that bad calls will be made, you will be more prepared to win regardless… and have more fun.

Bad call? It happens.

Protect your energy and be ready for the next play.
