People have been telling us about the Verdon Gorge for a long time. Finally we were able to explore Europe’s deepest canyon and rig the 110m line which was stage to Friedi’s free solo world record. It was the perfect finish for our highlining roadtrip this year. Unfortunately we broke our main camera two weeks later on a surf session, so we will need to figure out how to replace it haha. But for now enjoy the last episode of the covid series ✌🏼 thanks to @tennismichel for helping with the camera work.

On our way through France we make an unplanned stay at the Lac de Serre-Ponçon which is recommended to us by fellow travelers on the slack trail. Captured by the calm and beautiful nature of the spot we hardly get in the mood to pick up a camera. Therefore, not grabbing enough footage for a real episode. Either way we did our best to give you a impression of how the local community is spending the hot summer months there. We highly recommend you stopping by if you are traveling in the region of Haute Alpes. What a paradise 🏝

Don’t go gentle into the good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. We follow our route through France passing the Haute Alpes and stopping by the mighty 70m line in La Chambotte at the Lac du Bourget. Thanks to @4xel_weber for the tip. @tennismichel @kpnctrh are greeting our friends from Belgium 👋🏼

Don’t forget the fun! Along our roadtrip we will feature a handful of the most beautiful spots for climbing and highlining that we encounter. Stay tuned for the slacklife covid serious 🥳 Thanks @slackmates for taking us to the sustenpass in Switzerland.
