ENG/ESP - There's something about the ritual of having tea that opens to a conversation. Maybe it's the wait, the time for the leaves to infuse. Maybe the warmth of a cup in your hands. Or simply is something that calls for slowness, that is always better when it's shared.

Tea on board was born to create a space for this, with the old harbour or the sea as a very unique background.
Tag someone that you'd invite to have a cuppa on board!

Hay algo en el ritual del té que invita a la conversación.
Tal vez sea la espera. El tiempo que pasan las hojas en infusión. Tal vez sea el calor de la taza entre las manos. O simplemente algo que pide ir despacio, y ir despacio siempre es mejor acompañado.

Tea on Board nació de esta idea: crear el espacio para que eso pase. Y si es con un escenario como el puerto o el mar, ¡aún mejor!

ENG/ESP - October maybe is the best mont to have tea at sea: Autumn in the Mediterranean has arrived. The harbour is getting calmer after the long Summer season, heat is dropping while the light is more and more golden.

It's just the moment to have a good cuppa on a boat.

Tea on Board is : less noise, better conversations with the sea as our backdrop.

Tea with Friends, of course: to celebrate October, every day of the month...

Octubre. El mejor mes para tomar té en el mar: el otoño llega, el Mediterráneo sigue ahí.

El calor afloja, la luz se vuelve más dorada y el puerto recupera la calma después del verano.

Es el momento del año en que un buen té a bordo tiene más sentido que nunca.

Tea on Board en otoño es exactamente esto: menos ruido, mejores conversaciones y el mar de fondo.

ENG/ESP - Indian Summer means we can race and have tea and sail with good weather. Sailors' Tea (for our racing crew) is always a success... and even if no description and no video can really capture this experience, here you have some snippets from last Sunday. Our crew won 1st prize! Getting ready for more.

El veranito nos permite navegar en regata y tomar té con buen tiempo. El té de los navegantes (para la tripu) siempre es un éxito... y aunque no hay palabras o vídeos que puedan realmente contarlo todo sobre esta experiencia, aquí van unos momentos del pasado domingo. Llegamos primeros en nuestra categoría, y nos preparamos para más.

ENG/ESP - Autumn is here: on September 20 we had the first Very British Afternoon Tea on Board of the new season: a custom blend by Fortnum & Mason with a simple Lemon Drizzle Cake. And for the next weeks, this is the plan: just get together and have a simple Tea with Friends. We'll enjoy traditional cakes and simple food from the English tradition, without forgetting the sailing side.

Next dates:

Sun 27 Sept - Sailors' Tea (for our racing crew)
Sun 4 Oct - Tea at Sea (for our racing crew)
Fri 9 Oct - Tea on Board (Port Vell)

... and this is just a start.

El 20 de septiembre hemos disfrutado del primer Very British Afternoon Tea a bordo de la nueva temporada de otoño: un blend personalizado por Fortnum & Mason con una simple Lemon Drizzle Cake. Y para las próximas semana, ese es el plan: reunirnos para disfrutar del té y de la amistad. Con las tartas y la comida sin pretensión de la tradición inglesa, sin olvidarnos de la navegación a vela.

ENG/ESP - Tea with Friends: after the summer, it's so good to gather around a warm teapot and share good tea and best stories with our people.

A teacup as the silent companion of friends opening their hearts once more, taking a break on a hilltop in the English countryside... or a special and precious blend, to bring back some old traditions for the new season: we'd love to have more of these.

Té en amistad: después del verano, tenemos muchas ganas de reunirnos alrededor de una tetera bien calentita para disfrutar del té y ponernos al día.

Una taza que acompaña en silencio la conversación a corazón abierto, de unas amigas que descansan en la campiña inglesa... pero también un blend especial, para revivar la antigua tradición para la nueva temporada: para repetir más de una vez.

ENG/ESP - September is big on new beginnings while Summer is still here...

Please mark the next dates for our Regatta Tea: Sept 5 and Sept 26-27. Then we'll be in the UK for tea on board Sea Dawn, in London - 12/13 Sept... and the rest of our calendar is still a work in progress.

We'll be happy to create a private tea party together: do you have any special date in September?

Septiembre es volver a empezar mientras que el verano sigue aquí... las próximas fechas para Regatta Tea: regatas del 5 y 26-27 de septiembre.

Luego unos días en Londres para más té a bordo del Sea Dawn (12-13 de septiembre)... pero las otras fechas siguen aún abiertas.

ENG/ESP - Why the 10/10 rating? Because we've got serious space limitations on board, only quality and functional tea things are worth a place. We've got a thing for vintage, for sure - but not because is trending... is part of what's making a tea on board such a treat.

What is your favourite tea gear? Would you use it on a sailing boat?

¿Porqué todo tiene una puntuación de 10/10? Es por el espacio limitado a bordo: sólo los accesorios funcionales y de calidad se merecen un sitio. Claramente, el vintage nos gusta - pero no por moda... es parte de lo que hace un té a bordo tan especial.

ENG/ESP - We met just before leaving our mooring in Port Vell, shared tea and became a solid crew while sailing under the Sun, in the light of the solar eclipse and under the stars.

11-12-13 August - days to remember.

Nos conocimos justo antes de zarpar del Port Vell, compartimos té y nos convertimos en tripulación navegando bajo el sol, a la luz del eclipse y de las estrellas.

11-12-13 de agosto, unos días para recordar.

ENG/ESP - A tale of two French maids exploring, as "capitaine" and "matelot" the Greek islands. Following their passion for archaeology, they sail on a wooden cutter with all the comfort of a cruise. They've got recorded music and lots of provisions: tea is mentioned several times. They're all are about the same age: Perlette the cutter is 18 years old, the girls are 22 and together they will log 1700 nautical miles in the Aegean Sea in 1925. One year later, they will publish a book about this cruise.

We've read this a century later, in 2025. And we've got a bit nostalgic, so we're reading it again now...

La historia de dos jóvenes francesas que exploran, como "capitaine" y "matelot" las islas griegas. Siguiendo su pasión por la arqueología, navegan en un cúter de madera con todas las comodidades de un crucero. Tienes incluso música registrada y muchas provisiones: no escasean las menciones del té. Tienes casi la misma edad: Perlette, el barco, tiene 18 años y las chicas 22. Juntos recorren 1700 millas náuticas en el Mar Egeo en el año 1925. Un año más tarde, publican un libro sobre su viaje.

Lo descubrimos en 2025, cien años después. Y ahora lo volvemos a leer, con algo de nostalgia...

ENG/ESP - The main ingredient it's tea, of course! With the extreme heat of these days, it's good for inspiration and perspiration. Add some rosebuds for a even more refreshing brew, and keep an eye on our stories, as we're working on the last details for a quite unique experience. We'll be sailing tomorrow at 9 with an amazing female crew. Maybe you can guess our destination?

El ingrediente principal es, claramente, el té. Con el calor extremo de estos días, ayuda con la inspiración y con la transpiración también. Para un toque de frescor se pueden añadir capullitos de rosa - y hechar un ojo a nuestras stories. Estamos acabando los últimos detalles de una experiencia realmente única. Mañana a las 9 ponemos la proa hacia el sur con una maravillosa tripulación femenina. ¿Ya has adivinado adonde vamos?
