“Like all of our parks, Strawberry Hill was constructed using cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The park’s design reflects Organic Flow, the design methodology created by Grindline founder and visionary Mark Hubbard that continues to define our work and has made Grindline parks instantly recognizable to generations of skateboarders.” - Grindline

Over the last 25 years Strawberry has been a destination for skaters from across the world. Whether it be a local crew cookout, or @girlsskateboards and @antihero18 famous Beauty and the Beast Tour, Strawberry Hill has provided the skate community with endless good times.
The park is 12,000 square feet, and one continuous line of pool coping. The park has a distinguished DIY feel, with uneven transitions and rolling pool tiles. Strawberry’s open design and articulate facets allow for seemingly endless lines and flow. Its’ hips a haven for anyone looking to float some airs. The years have eroded the park, the once smooth concrete is coarse, and the chunky pool tiles make grinding a cacophonous endeavor that can be heard from the parking lot.

In 2022 the @bi_parks approved an expansion to the park (digital rendering included). Designed by grindline, the expansion included a 16,000 sqft street plaza, that wraps around the existing build.

This event is intended to celebrate 25 years of Strawberry Hill, and raise awareness and funding for the new expansion project + upkeep on the existing park. Please show up, enjoy good music, food, and most of all rip it up with all your homies! taken in Strawberry Hill Skate Park by @tearsofjoyzine

What a night @babayagaseattle with some absolutely amazing bands. @karoshiseattle @wecrytoxictears and @tearsofjoyzine blew the roof off the place. Big riffs, hardcore screams, and wild moshing made this show a fantastic way to start off 2026. Make sure to listen to all these groups on Bandcamp.
