This history MUST be integrated into our education systems. ESPECIALLY in North America. Its continued absence is a disservice to the legacy of these incredible artists, a disservice to the Black opera artists who are working today, a disservice to all of us. Thank you to the incredible @naomiandre67 and @operacreole for your work and your advocacy. GO READ THEIR WORK AND SEE OPERA CREOLE’S PRODUCTIONS!!!!!!!
