There’s something different about serving God where comfort is not an option.

No gas cooker.
No perfect kitchen.
Just firewood, smoke in our eyes, sweat on our skin… and hearts full of purpose.

Out here, you realize quickly, this is not convenience, this is conviction.

We cooked.
We laughed.
We endured the heat.
But more than anything… we showed up for souls.

Because the Gospel is not just preached in words—it is lived, sacrificed, and carried, even into the unseen places.

This experience has reminded me:
The Kingdom is not built on ease, but on obedience.

And honestly?
Every tear, every discomfort, every stretch,it’s worth it.

Because somewhere in all of this, lives are being touched, hope is being restored, and Jesus is being made known.

If you’ve ever wondered what it means to truly serve…
Sometimes, it looks like this.

Raw.
Unfiltered.
Uncomfortable.
But deeply fulfilling.

Will you go when it’s not convenient?
