Many of you asked, how the programming of the vertical turning process is done.

so here is the code for a Deckel Dialog4 Control for my FP5NC

i use Subtool-Numbers T1*n
i use cutter compensation.

for the outer contour, i tell the machine, i use a 0,4mm Endmill horizontally - G18

basically i program as if this endmil was milling the contour - in this way, i can use G41 and get the exact contour.

the parameters realize different Zero-Points (Pxxx) and Correctional Numbers (Pxx)
Then i calculate the sum (Pxxxx = Pxxx + Pxx)
where
P101 is X of Tool 1
P102 = Y or Tool 1
P103 = Z of Tool 1
P201 = X of Tool 2

P11 = X corretion of Tool 1
P12 = Y corretion of Tool 1
P13 = Z corretion of Tool 1
P21 = X corretion of Tool 2
...
So the Sum of Absolute and Correctional numbers is the actual needed Offset for the zero point shift, needed in G56

So P1001 is the final position in X of Tool 1
P1002 is Y of tool 1
P1003 is Z of tool 1
P2001 is X of tool 2
... and so on.

Once this is done and you probed every cutting edge, we can go into the real Program.

Where you can find N*... commands which call subroutines for drilling

and then on N500+ you find the contouring.

Be aware that the X-Values are Radius not Diameter.
Every value has to be doubled in mind.
