🌟Honoured and Grateful! 🌟 Yesterday in the heart of New York City, @tech_herfrica was bestowed with the prestigious SDG Digital Game Changers Award in the People Category by @ituofficial. 💃💃 Our journey may not always be filled with picturesque moments, but the impact we are creating is undeniably beautiful. By providing rural women and girls access to digital and financial literacy training, digital solutions, finacial services and smartphones, we are enabling them to gain digital and financial literacy and skills, and positioning them to increase their income by at least 50%. 💪💰 The road is tough, but moments like this serve as a powerful reminder that we're on the right path! 🙌 Special thanks to Prof Sola Akinrinade, an invaluable member of Tech Herfrica’s Board, for representing us with grace. #SDGAwards #TechHerfrica#sdgdigital #EmpowerWomen #GameChangers by @tech_herfrica
The transition into the digital economy has many benefits. However, it can also lead to the widening of income gaps and inequalities, especially as it affects magainized and underserved groups. Despite the increasing internet penetration in Africa, the usage gap is even becoming wider. We are closing the gap, and two of those ways are with @herlocalmarket and our digital financial literacy trainings. Click the link in our bio to read our article on how we are closing the usuage gap in line with Nigeria's National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy. @tech_herfrica, we believe that digital financial inclusion is a clear pathway to poverty reduction! So far, we have conducted digital financial literacy training for 1200 female farmers and traders in Nigeria and equipped 200 of them with internet-enabled smartphones and feature devices based on their needs and literacy levels! Through our work @herlocalmarket, these women are now able to to increase their income by 56.6% on the average. We are breaking the barriers to digital inclusion for these women, and we thank our partners for their immense support! @afriexapp @onome_foods @championmall And many more who are not on this platform. by @tech_herfrica
When we talk about girls in underserved communities, we often talk about what they lack. Food, shelter, clothing and other basic necessities. But there's so much more to consider. This International Day of the Girl Child, let's look beyond the visible needs and invest in the things that help girls grow, thrive and shape their own futures. Every girl deserves the opportunity to thrive, no matter where she comes from or the circumstances she was born into. #DayOfTheGirl #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild #GirlsRights #HopeRaisersGlobalFoundation #InvestInGirls by @tech_herfrica
From learning new things to trying, creating, asking questions and working together, these past weeks gave us so many moments to remember. We’re grateful to every child who showed up, every facilitator who gave their time and knowledge, and every partner who helped bring this programme to life. Thank you for being part of the journey with us. Until next time… see you in 2027! 👋🏾 #HopeRaisersGlobalFoundation #SummerSplash2026 #STEMEducation #EveryChildDeservesAnOpportunity #idps by @tech_herfrica
Digital & Financial Skills for MSMEs The School of Policy, Politics and Governance (SPPG), in collaboration with Tech Herfrica, facilitated a Digital and Financial Literacy Training for members of the Nigerian Air Force Wives Association (NAFOWA), at NAFOWA Asokoro, Abuja, on the 27th of June, 2026. The training focused on practical skills to support financial management, business growth, and participation in the digital economy. Through practical exercises, demonstrations, discussions and experience-sharing, participants strengthened their understanding of financial management and digital tools for entrepreneurship. The engagement reinforced the importance of equipping women with the knowledge and tools needed to build sustainable businesses and contribute meaningfully to economic development. #digitalinclusion #Financialinclusion #SPPG #TechHerfrica #NAFOWA changingnarratives by @tech_herfrica

And with that, Summer Splash 2026 has come to an end… Four weeks went by faster than we expected. From mathematics to engineering and digital skills, these children gave us so many moments to smile about. Summer Splash may be over, but we hope the impact remains forever. To every child, facilitator, volunteer, partner and supporter who made this possible, thank you for being part of the journey. Until the next one… #HopeRaisersGlobalFoundation #SummerSplash2026 #STEMEducation #DigitalLiteracy #EducationForAll by @tech_herfrica
Building stronger roots for a thriving agri-sector. Sometimes, meaningful impact begins with equipping those who work closest to the grassroots with the right knowledge, tools, and confidence. From 8–10 April 2026, Tech Herfrica joined fellow CSOs and key stakeholders in Abuja for a Train-the-Trainer workshop focused on agricultural finance, agribusiness analysis, and enterprise development. Beyond learning, participants had the opportunity to step into the facilitator’s role taking sessions and sharing knowledge to demonstrate understanding and strengthen their training skills. It was three days of learning, practice, collaboration, and exchanging ideas on how better financial knowledge can support farmers and agri-entrepreneurs, particularly in rural communities. Because when capacity grows at the grassroots, possibilities grow with it. 🌾 #TechHerfrica #AgriculturalFinance #CapacityBuilding FinancialInclusion by @tech_herfrica

When rural communities are actively involved in shaping development interventions, they are more likely to develop a sense of ownership, trust, and responsibility. Ultimately, an inclusive and co-creative approach promotes locally relevant solutions, strengthens community resilience, and contributes to more equitable and sustainable rural development. Engagement, co-creation, and inclusion are fundamental to achieving sustainable and community-driven development. #Digitainclusion #financialinclusion #TechHerfrica #changingnarratives #EquipHer by @tech_herfrica
