🎉Thrilled to meet Prime Minister Trudeau last night at the Canadian residence in NYC!

👨‍🎤Feeling energized after holding @alltechishumanorg's first summit in London!

🌇Summit is the right word, as this pic is from the 72nd floor of The Shard where we had 250 people mingling on the lower floor.

🙏Took in the sites of London with my better half, @leslie.polgar, who has been the secret weapon in so much that has happened!

🤯Talking about emerging technologies and reducing the harms of social media while staring at the London Tower built in the 11th century and iconic Tower Bridge is quite surreal. by @techethicist

A vibrant democracy is not the default, but something that needs to be protected.

Honored to be asked to speak last night at the French Consulate in New York about building a global, multi-stakeholder, and multidisciplinary network with @alltechishumanorg that can move at the speed of tech.

We need to understand values, unite communities, and work towards co-creating a better tech future.

🙌The global Responsible Tech movement is afoot. Honored to present today at #stratcomsummit in Istanbul today about the growing need to tackle wicked tech & society issues like misinformation with a multistakeholder and multidisciplinary approach that weaves together multiple perspectives.

Discussed @alltechishumanorg
and our unique grassroots-power model.

💪We know there is a "tech problem." It's time to focus on chipping away at the solution, which requires collective insight and action.

“There’s obviously a lot of opportunities with centralization. But the big kind of looming question will be, ‘how do we ensure that it moves beyond kind of a trim buzzword to being something that can move us towards safe spaces while, at the same time, less concentrated with power?’”

Improving social media will require plenty of trial and error. But ultimately, David Ryan Polgar (@TechEthicist) of @AllTechIsHuman says we need to diffuse the power away from a few powerful companies. by @techethicist
