Today we are taking another glance at Great Britain, where TECHNE railroad cranes have been in service for many years. The rail infrastructure and rail freight company @colasrailuk operates one KRC1200 UK, shown in the picture.
The heavy-duty rail freight rail-based crane has a max lifting capacity of 125 tonnes with a high level of precision lift and carry functionality. Colas Rail uses it for multiple tasks, including lifting sections of the track during replacement works, installation and removal of overhead line gantries, and bridge reconstruction, and can also be deployed on a derailment site to recover the derailed traction. Compatibility with the Network Rail’s modular Tilting Wagon system enables it to be used flexibly on a variety of construction sites.

New railway cranes for the Rhomberg Sersa Group
Friday, 3rd September 2021, marked the christening of two cranes from Kirow In glorious sunshine, amidst the Swiss Alpine the railway cranes were handed over to the Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group panorama and as the bottles smashed against the buffers of the two Multi Taskers from Leipzig, the joy was great for all involved. From now on, the KRC 1200and the KRC 500 will be used in track construction and recovery services in Switzerland. As a heavy-duty expert, the KRC 1200 is particularly convincing due to its flexibility of use. Thanks to the double slewing ring, the counterweight can remain in the direction of the track while the boom swings out independently up to 30 degrees.

Neue Eisenbahnkrane für die Rhomberg Sersa Gruppe
Am Freitag, dem 3.September 2021 wurden gleich zwei Krane aus dem Hause Kirow feierlich getauft. Im herrlichen Sonnenschein inmitten des Schweizer Alpenpanoramas wurden die Eisenbahnkrane der Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group übergeben. Nachdem die Flaschen am Puffer der beiden Multi Tasker aus Leipzig zerschellten, war die Freude bei allen Beteiligten groß. Der KRC 1200 und der KRC 500 werden von nun an im Gleisbau und im Bergungsdienst in der Schweiz zum Einsatz kommen. Dabei überzeugt der KRC 1200 als Schwerlastexperte besonders durch seine flexible Einsetzbarkeit. ank Doppeltem Drehkranz bleibt das Gegengewicht in Gleisrichtung, während der Ausleger unabhängig davon bis zu 30 Grad ausschwenkt.

Der Kran ist vom Werk Kirow direkt nach Polen Wronki gefahren worden.⠀

DREI MULTI TASKER FÜR THAILAND
Die Thailändische Staatsbahn SRT betreibt ein Schienennetz von 4487 Kilometern Länge in 47 thailändischen Provinzen und befördert jährlich ca. 35 Millionen Passagiere. In den letzten Jahren wurde der Ausbau weiter vorangetrieben. Zu den Investitionen gehört auch der Ersatz der fast 40 Jahre alten Eisenbahnkrane für den Unfalldienst durch 3 moderne Kirow Multi Tasker. Die Auslieferung und Verschiffung soll im Sommer 2021 erfolgen. Kirow geht im Moment davon aus, dass dieser Termin trotz der allgegenwärtigen Probleme und Hindernisse, mit denen das Covid-19 Virus momentan die gesamte Welt in Atem hält, gehalten werden kann.

THREE MULTI TASKER FOR THAILAND
The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) serves a rail network of 4487 kilometres in 47 Thai provinces and transports about 35 million passengers annually. In recent years, the expansion has been further advanced. The investments also include the replacement of the almost 40-year-old railway cranes for the accident service with 3 modern Kirow Multi Tasker Cranes. Delivery and shipment of the cranes is scheduled for summer 2021. Kirow currently assumes that this date will be kept despite the omnipresent problems and obstacles which the Covid-19 virus currently presents to the entire world.

ZWEI SLAG TAURUS U 60 FÜR DAS STAHLWERK ACCIAI SPECIALI TERNI
Im Dezember 2019 und Februar 2020 lieferte KIROW zwei Schlackentransporter vom Typ KIROW SLAG TAURUS U 60 an das Stahlwerk Acciai Speciali Terni (AST) in der italienischen Region Umbrien. Dort hat der neue Dienstleister Tapojärvi Mitte Februar 2020 den Schlackenumschlag übernommen. Tapojärvi hat seinen Hauptsitz in Finnland und ist seit mehr als 50 Jahren ein Big Player in der Bergbauindustrie, verfügt aber auch über Erfahrungen mit der internen Logistik in skandinavischen Stahlwerken. Mit dem Beginn des Schlackentransports in Terni erweitert Tapojärvi seine Geschäftsfelder im Bereich der Metallurgie.

TWO SLAG TAURUS U 60 FOR THE STEEL PLANT ACCIAI SPECIALI TERNI
In December 2019 and February 2020 KIROW supplied two slag pot carriers type KIROW SLAG TAURUS U 60 to the steel plant Acciai Speciali Terni (AST), located in the Italian region of Umbria. There the new service provider Tapojärvi took over the slag handling job by middle of February 2020. Tapojärvi has its head offices in Finland and is a big player in mining industry since more than 50 years, but also has experience with internal logistics in Scandinavian steelworks. With the start of slag transportation in Terni, Tapojärvi extends its business activities within the field of metallurgy.
