after some chemicals being back ordered for months I was finally able to test out the ferroblend printing process. there are issues with this first attempt, but i have a feeling this is exactly what I’ve been looking for for a long time. really makes me want to dive into 8x10 even more.

took a screen printing class over the last couple months. I don’t think it’s for me in terms of making art, but I do have some ideas if I ever come back to it! it’s also a fun skill to have in your back pocket.

was hoping to find a publication or show to include these in as a series, but as it hadn’t presented itself, I’ll share them here.

cypress grove study, toned cyanotype, 2025

there’s some mumbo jumbo I could say about tannins and their long association with swamps or bogs, but I’ll spare you the artist statement.

gum print for my parents for Christmas. scanned and prepped from a photolab photo from 1979. completed this sort of on a whim in one day! four layers of emulsion.

took on a new full time job recently and haven’t had a lot of time for printing (or shooting for that matter), but I have some plans for some new larger scale pieces. for now, here’s a print of the water.
