POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As a little girl fixing engines with her dad, Tara Chklovski was told something that stuck: a technical mindset helps you understand the world.

Years later, during her engineering studies, she noticed how few young women were in math, science, and technology, the very fields shaping humanity’s hardest problems.

So she built something different.

Technovation now equips girls around the world to identify real problems and solve them using AI, app development, and emerging technologies, including tools powered by #GoogleDataCenters.

Girls like Aarvi Khandelwal, who built an app using @googlemaps to help people navigate to safety during natural disasters. That’s what happens when young women are trusted with real tools and real responsibility.
From engines → to AI → to global impact.

We've been working on a surprise.

Not only will World Summit 2026 be an in-person event, but for the first time we are hosting it in a new place: Bengaluru, India!

As if that weren't exciting enough, 11 winning teams from the AI Ventures Accelerator will also join us to showcase their start-ups at Demo Day as part of our World Summit event.

You’re about to see what Technovation looks like at full speed.

Before the recognition, before the global stage, she was a Technovation Girl. 💛

Gitanjali Rao participated in 2018, 2019, and 2020 + became a finalist in 2019, presenting her work to the world.

Her projects?
Epione → exploring new ways to detect opioid addiction
Kindly → using AI to identify cyberbullying

Since then, she’s been named @time’s first-ever Kid of the Year, led innovation workshops for students around the world, and continues building at scale as a student at @mit and @unicef Youth Advocate.

This is what’s possible when young people are given the tools, mentorship, and space to build.

We’re proud to be part of her story, and even more excited for what she builds next.

Community is a verb.

It's an active, real-world experience that creates a feeling of belonging and support.

Thank you to the whole team at the @Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center, for welcoming us with open arms for our first international World Summit. by @technovationglobal

Yesterday, 22 young women founders took the stage in Gurugram to showcase the 11 AI startups they've spent six months building through the AI Ventures Accelerator program. One detects strabismus in children with a phone camera. Another brings solar-powered, AI-enabled cold storage to smallholder farmers who lose crops before they can sell them. Every team is backed by $10,000 in equity-free seed funding. Thank you @googleindia for hosting.

Surprise! The most disruptive tech this season isn't an app that gets you to scroll longer. It's one that gets you to put the phone down.

Introducing the Break the Scroll Prize, our new award for technology that puts humans first instead of chasing likes.

This year's winner is Kindling, built by our Senior Division team in Dubai, UAE. It gets parents and teens actually talking to each other again, with research-backed conversation starters and nudges built for real families, long-distance and single-parent households included.

Attention is sacred and Kindling gets that. Congratulations, Kindling. You broke the scroll. 👏

Our Junior teams solved five real problems this season.

Apps that support health in emergencies and everyday life. Tools that protect what's at risk. New paths to earning that didn't exist before these teams built them. Nobody asked for permission. They just noticed what their communities needed and got to work.

Congratulations, finalists. We'll see you in Bengaluru, India. 🇮🇳

Our Beginner teams took on five different problems. Curiosity and courage came standard.

Apps that connect families across generations. Gardens that turn kids into people who actually want to grow food. Games that teach empathy like it's a skill, because it is.

Congratulations, finalists. Pack your pitch, we'll see you in Bengaluru, India. 👀
