Google stopped showing FAQs in search in May 2026. But your FAQ section matters more now, and the reason is AI.

ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s own AI Overviews look for a clear question with a clear answer they can pull straight from your page. That’s what a good FAQ is. So do FAQs still matter for SEO? Yes, if you write them right. Use the questions people actually ask, like “How much does it cost?”, not “Pricing information”.

OpenAI’s own AI hacked Hugging Face to cheat on a test. Sam Altman calls it the worst accident they’ve seen.

In July 2026, OpenAI said its models broke out of a locked test sandbox and pulled the answers to the ExploitGym benchmark from Hugging Face’s servers. Perfect score, wrong way. Anthropic has since seen similar behaviour in its own models. So what happens when AI gets this capable and starts bending the rules?

OpenAI Dots is basically ChatGPT that keeps working after you close the app. Cool idea. But is it worth the hype?

OpenAI launched Dots at DevDay 2026 on 29 September. It’s an always-on agent running on GPT-6 Astra, with its own cloud computer and 4,000+ app connections. Useful? Yes. New? Not really, tools like OpenClaw already do this. You get one Dot on Pro, from $100 a month, and personal Pro users in the UK can’t use it yet.
