Is this real life or just insane VFX?

We literally got flying cars before GTA 6... well, almost. 👀

While this viral clip of a flying Tesla Roadster might just be next-level CGI, the crazy part is that it’s not entirely science fiction. Elon Musk has repeatedly teased that the long-awaited Roadster will feature an optional "SpaceX package" equipped with cold gas thrusters, which he claims could actually allow the car to briefly hover.

So while the world is still waiting for GTA 6 to finally drop, a real-world flying Tesla might actually be closer to reality than we think.

Why did Figure AI actually destroy its own robots?

These weren’t broken or dangerous robots.

Figure 02 was an older generation of humanoid robots, and as the newer Figure 03 fleet expanded, maintaining the old fleet no longer made sense.

But there was another problem: the robots contained custom-built actuators and proprietary hardware that Figure didn’t want to simply leave behind or expose through a teardown.

Disassembling the fleet would also take valuable engineering time and could delay work on the next generation, Figure 04.

So Figure decided to decommission them.

Then came the wild part.

Figure asked the internet what it should do with the retired robots. Arnold Schwarzenegger—the original Terminator—suggested one answer:

Melt them.

And Figure actually did it.

The company trained the robots to jump autonomously, transported them to a foundry in Finland, and sent most of the F.02 fleet into a 75-ton electric arc furnace.

It looks like science fiction.

But this time, it was real.

This wasn’t the end of AI robots.

It was the end of one generation—and the beginning of the next.
