Whitewater season is on!!

These guides are all geared up & ready for the summer!

Another successful Wilderness First Aid course with @desertmountainmedicine & @mtwhitewater is in the books.

Again, a huge shoutout to my co-instructors & students for being awesome!

These guides though, whether on water or zip lines are all a total blast & you should all check them out for a guaranteed adventure!!

Do I love my camper? Yes? Do I threaten to burn it to the ground on a weekly basis? Also yes.

I’ve been recently contemplating getting a permanent address & laying down some roots… but what about the camper?

It’s not going anywhere. It will always be my permanent project.

I love it.

It’s my first home… (well second if you count camper 1.0)

It might be demoted to vacation home or guest bedroom if I ever find some land to park it on, but it will always have a permanent parking spot wherever I end up landing.

Welcome to my Dirtbag Granola Eat, Pray, Love Year!

2025 is my year of getting rid of the “woulda, coulda, shouldas”

I’ve always wanted to get better at skiing, so I’ve been out as much as I can. I’m still not good, but I’m better. (Backcountry next?)

I signed up for mountain biking clinics, and bought a new camera. (This year is going to be well documented!)

I’ve gotten closer to the people that make life better & I’ve closed the door on people that didn’t.

Travel plans are in the works! Scotland? Maybe Romania… only time will tell.

I’m going to say & do the things that scare me, because why not.

We’re only here for a little while & I’m gonna make the most of it.

2024 was a big year of reflection for me. I learned a lot, & took time to listen to those around me.

I learned that not all losses are bad & I learned that that surrounding yourself with good vibes & positive energy can make a world of difference.

I have a few projects in the works for this year, & it’s exciting to dream about them & make plans!

I don’t totally know what 2025 has in store for me yet, but I have a feeling it will be big!

Who knew I’d be invited to a Content Creator Retreat? 😎🎉
.
I got the opportunity to hang out with 11 of the coolest people a few weeks ago, & I want to tell you all about it.
.
We were able to spend our nights and our downtime in a beautiful home from @bluewatervacationhomes. This house had it all, views for miles, cozy spots for down time, and super comfy beds! I’m not usually a city skyline view gal, but I loved drinking my coffee in the morning and soaking in the views.
.
Our first night was super memorable thanks to @thebeachfireguy. I’ve always wanted to have a beach bonfire & he made it happen. It was cozy & relaxing…& there were s’mores! (My favorite ❤️)
.
We spent our next morning paddling along the bay with @aqua_adventures. We got to see Sea Lions Up close & personal. Even though I’m terrified of ocean water… these folks made me feel secure & comfy. Taking a kayak out on the bay was a breeze! We even practiced some team bonding by taking out the Megaladon, their 8 person paddle board!
.
The rest of the day we spent sampling the food from Little Italy with @_sodiego & since food tours are my absolute favorite, I loved this day the most!
.
After some much needed down time we went to @guavabeach for the absolute best ceviche I have ever had. I will be dreaming about this for a while!
.
We made time to attend conferences & wander around downtown San Diego just to take in the sites. But finished our last day at @nadorepublic. This place had all the vibes! If you’re wandering through San Diego & want some authentic Italian food, this is the place! The best Cannoli I’ve had since Venice!
.
Even though I’m not much of a city dweller, I loved this city. So much to see, do, and eat! I can’t wait to go back.
.
I’m also counting down the days until til I get to see all of these faces again 🤗🥰

What’s your favorite thing to do on vacation? 🌴🌞

Mine is definitely a good food tour!
.
Hanging out with the Rent Mount team & @_sodiego for an epic food tour! We went on a quest to find the hidden gem foodie spots in Little Italy, & it was truly the most fun I’ve had in a super long time!
.
Stop 1: @littleitalymercato
- I could get lost in this place for days!! Learning the history of this place & how it was started added so much more to the experience! When a local woman found the need for a market in her area, she started one! Now it’s the biggest in San Diego & one of the largest in the country. 💪💪
.
Stop 2: @soluntosandiego
- The Bread. The sauce. The pasta!! I can’t… it was so good.
.
Stop 3: @mrmotopizza
- A San Diego Staple & I totally get why! Of course I had the Rocky Mountain Slice… bc, well I love the mountains.
.
Stop 4: @queenstownph
- This place was amazing! Blue Cheese sliders… (not pictured bc I devoured mine) Also, Aperol Spritzes 🧡. I’m not sure how they knew I’d been craving one for months…

Stop 5: @pappalecco
- Because everyone needs a little Gelato in their life.

It always feels good to be home again!

I know I’ve kind of been gushing about being home in Montana, but it’s truly where I feel like my best self.
.
I haven’t spent a lot of time at home for the past few years & it feels so good to be back.
.
I’ve been checking off my “must do’s” since I’ve been back & a lot of time just disconnected from my phone.
.
I’m still getting to returning all the missed bday messages & texts, but I’ll get to them all eventually.
.
For now, I’m just going to keep enjoying the moments.

Do you know what my favorite things is?

Encouraging women to get outside & do badass things safely & confidently!

Scary things can happen when we’re out doing all the cool things. When they do happen, it’s so absolutely empowering to know you have this handled.

I’ve been stuck in a scary situation or two, & knowing that I have the skills to take care of it just makes me feel so much better!

Most of you know I’ve been teaching with @desertmountainmedicine & we’ll be hosting a Women’s Wild Med WFA course in Hot Springs in September!

So come hang out with me & a bunch of my super fun friends in Hot Springs, Mt to learn some badass skills & hang out with other awesome ladies!

There’s camping on site, a possibility of s’mores, & guaranteed good times!

…I hear someone might be bringing a disco ball?😂💃

I’ve had a lot of ups & downs this year.

Like a lot.

But then I heard this song… & it reminded me I’m right where I’m supposed to be.

I feel like I’ve always been chasing that next adventure… & I still am.

But my priorities have switched & I finally feel like I’m getting back to who I used to be. Who I was 5 years ago, & the dreams I had then.

The thing is, I don’t feel like I have to chase them anymore, I think I’m already living them. I just took me some time to figure that out.

One more week & I’ll be back in Montana.

I’ve had the best time across the world & across the country over the past year… but I won’t lie. I’m ready to go home & be there for a bit.

I have big plans to see old friends, maybe make some new friends & take some time to see where life takes me next.

This next chapter… it’ll be a surprise for all of us.

Including me.
