Returning from my first ever @ssbdfest with my heart completely full. I wrote a note in my phone during the festival that just said “I feel like myself again.” Because honestly I haven’t really been feeling like myself lately and I was a little worried about how I was going to feel at the festival. Let’s just say it was a restorative experience. Such an incredible collection of humans spreading love and vibrating on a similar frequency all in the spirit of love, respect, music, art, creativity, connection and experience. Forever grateful for the bonds strengthened in established friendships and the new friendships that blossomed.

Thank you so much to @drewshibby & @phunkify for having me hop in at Grandpa’s UK Garage and to @superbloom.collective for having me play on the beach. It really got to scratch an itch for me in such a creatively inspiring environment with so many talented DJs. Also the fact that I got bumped for @leereynolds_music on Saturday is legendary 😂

I went through a pretty intense spiritual ceremony a couple months ago and a big part of what they talk about is the integration of the experience. I really want to integrate the things that came up for me at this festi, the lessons learned, and the way I feel about myself into my daily life.

SSBD you are truly a magical place. I can’t wait to return next year.

Too many memories to fit in one post. One more carousel coming tomorrow… taken in Same Same But Different Festival by @teddy.roxpin
