Another lovely paint-along Zoom with @samira.mian Patreon...
I wasn't sure whether or not I should outline my painting... but once I started I felt that I had to keep going. I'm pleased enough with the finished piece but might do another 'paint only' version next. 😊

Ghostly 👻 October Weeklies

I'm having so much fun using my Journal this month... @fox.and.fable.studio stickers... a few additional stickers from @creawithgaby ... and some spooky scrapbook paper and these pages came together like an apparition...

Swatching my beautiful new #artphylosophywatercolor 'vintage pastels' paint set from @primamarketinginc
A little birthday present to myself 🎨🖌 for my October birthday.
So far my only complaint is that once you remove the outer papers from each pan they slide around in the tin... I can fix this with a tiny piece of self adhesive magnetic strip on each pan... but in my opinion, a well designed product shouldn't need fixing.
The paints themselves appear to be excellent quality and I love the colours... I'm even considering buying another set in the range.

The perfect ink for October 💀🍃

@cultpens and @diamineltd created this dangerously gorgeous ink for Hallowe'en 2024. Deadly nightshadeis a stunning purple/ green ink... beware... use once and you might be lost forever....

October Cover Page 👻

I had fun setting up my October spreads... gothic lettering, spooky papers and the perfect stickers from @fox.and.fable.studio (formerly am paper & art co) made everything hauntingly easy.

The last of my September pages... the last full week of September 🍁🍂

September was more like 'late Summer' than 'early Autumn' this year but I still love my very autumnal setup.

Five years of September Cover Pages 🍂🧡

I think 2022 is my personal favourite, but that's because it feeds into both my love of 'The Witcher' books and my Funko pop addiction 😊

September 'Notes' page 🍂🧡

All of this month's titles were written using this cute little cartridge pen from @kindakawaiiuk from last year's advent calendar. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a converter and getting one small enough is proving a challenge... I haven't given up! If anyone else knows where I can get one small enough please let me know... for the moment I have to refill the cartridge and it's a pain in the 🙄

The ink I'm using this month is my favourite brown inks for @ferriswheelpress #beaverdambrown is perfect for autumn 🍂 and I love it! 🧡
