As we decompress from Ukraine.

It’s 4 days since myself , Jack and George returned from our charity drive from Wales to Lviv in Ukraine and I’m still thinking of the people we met , the sights we saw and the emotions stirred !
We drove for 3 days solid to deliver a 4 x 4 as a front line evacuation Vehicle on behalf of @drivingukraine , along with aid that included Blankets , hot water bottles , hand warmers , a chain saw , a generator , armour plating , helmets and drone netting .

Nothing prepared me for ‘The Field of Mars ‘ just one of Lvivs war graves for the fallen of Lviv !

How is it possible that this senseless war has now entered its 4th year …. With over 2 million human beings killed , sustained life changing injuries or missing in action !
The Ukrainians have been invaded by a hostile country that’s on our own doorsteps … and we just watch from the sidelines 😢

thank you to all those that kindly sponsored our trip , myself , Jack and George …. And the Ukrainian people are very grateful 🙏 ❤️ by @tedgell

Well at least I know what my boys think of me …. “Put it on the tab” …. Written and produced by them for my birthday 🎁… it’s kinda catchy … excuse the bad language … sure it could be a hit song… talking about when I’m gone … I’m going to have to sleep with one eye open now 😂#viralsongs #putitonthetab by @tedgell

As I headed home and rode up the castle drive , I started contemplating the number of horses that would have trod the same path as myself and Evie over the centuries …. Then I saw our shadow and felt quite emotional … #horses #castles #ghosts by @tedgell

Well myself and brother in law @geraint_f_hill decided in the summer we were going to try the couch to 5 k running app …. Both being a bit obsessed… we graduated quickly to 2 5k park runs and then thought 8 weeks ago … bugger it we can do a half marathon…. Not enough training for the October Cardiff Half …. And probably not enough for today’s Cardiff Movember MOrun half marathon today !! But guess what? we bloody done it ! It’s never too late !!
Feeling ecstatic in the head and crippled in the knees 😂 #couchto5k #morunner by @tedgell

Ken the classic

Well it took nearly 4 years to restore and reimagine this 1958 MGA into a Ken Miles Le Man 2 litre twin cam tribute.
All I can say is this pocket rocket , starts , stops and goes around corners at breakneck speeds….. and sounds amazing with its handmade Simpson side pipe race exhaust system!
This car was painstakingly developed for me as a unique classic road racer by @W.D.Wins in Cowbridge….. and I’m really grateful to be Ken’s Custodian.
