Back at the HQ with Professor Gavin Thomas tonight 🥋Some people come into our children’s lives and leave a lasting impact. ❤️Watching Teddy with his coach reminds me just how important it is for young people to have someone they can admire, learn from, and aspire to be like. ELITE JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPION 🧡🥇 What a day for Teddy! He became BJJ Elite World Champion in the Gi, taking home 🥇 also earning 🥈 in No-Gi after losing to a really solid competitor in the final. Nothing but respect every match is a chance to learn and improve.👊🏽💨Massive respect to every single competitor who came face to face with Teddy on the mats today. First wrestling comp🥇🐻Teddy stepped onto the mats for his first ever Wrestling competition today. The Bear Wrestling interclub and came away with gold 🥇💪🏼Proud of him for getting stuck in and putting all his hard work into action. 🥈🥈ADCC National Championships 2026, Coventry.💥 Weighing in at 25.7kg compete In 28kg and 32kg💥Going up a weight bracket unfortunately can mean being the younger and lighter end of a bracket that you go up to fight in, BUT that didn’t stop this kid. 0 fear and ready to step on the mats with anyone put in front of him, really testing himself is something this kid just loves to do 👀😂💯 Getting those submission finishes to get to both finals, narrowly losing the -32kg final by ref’s decision after overtime. Huge respect to all my opponents 🤙🏽As always we learn, and we grow from it. Yesterday didn’t go exactly to plan , but neither has the last few weeks. Sometimes it’s not the skill, mindset or dedication. Yesterday at NAGA London didn’t quite go as planned, but still a weekend full of lessons and experience.We decided to jump up to the Expert division to test ourselves against the best around. Unfortunately the Gi bracket didn’t happen as my opponent ended up being in a different weight class, so no matches there.In NoGi I managed to bring home a 🥈 losing in the final to a very solid competitor. After that i decided to push things even further and jump up an age group to get some rounds in with the top boys and set some targets for where we want to beSilver in Expert ain’t to bad but Back to the gym now with plenty to work on and lots of experience gained.All in all an awesome weekend in London I also got a 1-1 session with @marlojonesbjj , watched my best friend and teammate @grace.bjj11 win the belt and smash her brackets, my teammate @big_ben_bjj compete, and my bro from Swansea @harryonthemat_bjj come away with a 🥉 and watch @jacobthomasbjj smash the expert bracket and bring home the belt. Little change in atmosphere today. No match ups in our usual promotion, so we decided to give @Allstarsbjj a try.With the opportunity to enter multiple brackets, we thought why not really test ourselves.Weighed in at 23.3kg and entered:▪️ -24kg NoGi▪️ -27kg Gi & NoGi▪️ -30kg Gi & NoGiStepping up weight, stepping up challenge.Ended the day with:🥇🥇🥇🥇🥈Narrowly losing the -30kg Gi final by 2 points to a solid competitor big respect, strong match.That’s what it’s about.
