Our founder is still making moves and making an impact. 🙌

From helping shape the sound of South Florida to opening doors for the next generation, @iamtedlucas continues to invest in the community that helped shape him.

Through Tech Tuesdays, mentorship, and his continued commitment to creating opportunities, Ted is helping connect our community to technology, resources, jobs, and new possibilities.

As he said, “when you bring the right community of people together, we can make a big impact here in South Florida”.

A special thank you to @_najahesherman_ & @cbsmiami for highlighting Ted’s story and the work happening right here in our community.

Closing out the week with a reminder from @iamtedlucas : where you start does not determine where you finish‼️

Despite being doubted and counted out early in life, Ted refused to let anyone else’s expectations define his future.

He went on to build a career and legacy rooted in impact: founding @slipnsliderec the No. 1 independent record label, creating opportunities through the @tedlucasfoundation , and investing in the next generation of leaders, creators and entrepreneurs @thesourcegroups @gettechknowledge @techtuesdaysmiami

His journey is proof that your circumstances don’t define your potential, and someone else’s doubt never gets the final word on your future.

Keep building. Keep believing. Keep becoming.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, coaches, and father figures who lead with love, strength, and sacrifice.

At the Ted Lucas Foundation, we recognize that strong families help build strong communities, and today we honor every man who shows up, gives back, and inspires the next generation to dream bigger.

Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices, resilience, and strength of those who came before us. Their courage and perseverance created opportunities that generations after them continue to benefit from today.

Thank you to @councilwoman_wilson and the @cityofmiamigardens @mgjuneteenth for this recognition of our founder @iamtedlucas by @tedlucasfoundation

How awesome is this!!

Congratulations to @iamtedlucas on being honored with the ‘Hip-Hop Visionary Award’ by @livinglegendsfoundation. This award honors the influential leaders shaping the music, radio, and entertainment industries. by @tedlucasfoundation

Who do you run to when there’s no one to run to? Founder @iamtedlucas knew he had no other decision but to stand on his own. Coming from where it’s almost designed not to succeed, it comes down to a decision.

We all have a “Why”. Direction is easier when you’ve identified it.

Slip N Slide Records made this Thanksgiving especially meaningful for our community, joining forces with Ted Lucas Foundation, Greenspoon Marder, The Source Groups to serve with heart and generosity.

Together, they provided and served a full Thanksgiving dinner to our clients and blessed 30 of our families with gift cards. Their kindness created a moment of dignity, joy, and connection for the individuals and families we serve.

Thank you for showing what true community looks like. ❤️ by @tedlucasfoundation
