A TEDx talk is 12 minutes on stage but the journey matters.

The idea, the edits, rehearsals, doubts omg the doubts!!!!, the moments it all finally clicks like magic and everything else nobody sees from the audience.

If you’re thinking about applying to speak at TEDx, here’s a look at what the experience is actually like, from the inside.

It’s finally here! 🎬🟥

My full TEDx talk, "How the Rubik's Cube Makes Complex Problem Solving Easier," is live!

Learning to solve a Rubik’s Cube wasn’t just turning sides as fast as possible - it was understanding how to approach problems that seem near impossible at first glance

In this talk, I break down how the principles behind solving a 3x3 puzzle apply to complex challenges we may face in life:

Breaking down chaos into structured steps

Intentionally slowing down to take a larger step forward

Planning ahead to catch your next move

Whether it’s an engineering challenge, a career goal, or a personal milestone - the framework stays the same.

It’s actually out. 🥹

My TEDx talk, “Breaking the silence women inherit”, is now live.

I’ve been waiting to share this one because this talk is so deeply connected to the work I’ve been doing for years, the things we inherit from our families, our cultures, our histories, and the things we learn to carry.

Breaking the silence women inherit.

At the heart of the talk is a question I’ve been sitting with for a long time:

What if some of what we call culture is actually inherited survival?

For me, this was never just about getting on a TEDx stage.

It’s for the women who came before me, and the women who will come after me.

Especially my girls. ❤️

This is just a little piece of it.

The full talk is now live, you can find the link in my bio.

If you watch it and something makes you stop, question something you’ve always accepted, or think about the women in your own family, tell me

TEDx | Race, culture, identity & inherited survival by @tedxmoseley

We attended TEDx Moseley event as a partner.

Ozzy left having spoken on the TEDx stage. ✏️🎤

A surreal experience sharing how doodling helps people understand and remember ideas.

Proof that a pen, some curiosity, and a lot of practice can take you to unexpected places.

Grateful for the opportunity. 🚀 by @tedxmoseley

The official TEDx photos are finally here. ❤️

A moment I’ll never forget.

Standing on that red circle wasn’t about giving a talk, it was about sharing a message I truly believe in.

Thank you to the @tedxmoseley team and everyone who’s supported me on this journey. I can’t wait to share the talk with you soon. 🚀

The official TEDx photos are finally here. ❤️

Looking at these photos, I don’t just see a TEDx stage.

I see the years of questioning the inherited beliefs that told me I wasn’t supposed to take up space.

The belief that speaking up is arrogance. That confidence is something to apologise for. That being “good” means being quiet. That your ideas should stay small enough to keep everyone else comfortable.

We inherit these stories long before we ever step onto a stage. Some come from our families, some from our cultures, and some from the wider systems that have shaped whose voices are valued and whose are overlooked.

They shape how we lead, how we parent, how we love, the opportunities we pursue, and who we believe we’re allowed to become.

That’s why I do this work.

Because when we question the survival beliefs we inherited, we create more freedom, not just for ourselves, but for the people watching us rewrite what’s possible.

Thank you, @tedxmoseley for trusting me with this conversation. I can’t wait for the talk to be released.

Also, how the heck was this only last month????

Photos from @tedxmoseley have been released and it feels like a long time ago when it was only last month! I remember leading up to the day that week, I was nervous! but excited. My main worry was I would forget what I wanted to say but with the brilliant coaching from @hadeepanjwani @nettyb_leadershipcommunication and @cordell_jeffers their advice was perfect and exactly what I needed. As soon as I walked onto the stage, it all flowed exactly how I imagined. Looking forward to sharing some footage with you soon! by @tedxmoseley

Our work is niche. I am reminded of that every time I say what we do to someone outside our space.

But it’s also true that our work is for everyone.

Because it’s about people.
People’s hearts and stories and the insides of them.

It’s about love and loss and pain and recovery.

It’s about connection and reconciliation.

And that’s why I love this picture. Because it’s the moment when, having shared some of Owen’s story- in all its uniqueness and unusualness - I invite everyone into the frame.

Because this is about all of us. by @tedxmoseley

The official TEDx pictures are in. ❤️

One red dot. One very personal story. One message I will never stop sharing:

Silence is not absence.
It is signal.
Look Again.

A huge thank you to everyone who made TEDx Moseley possible… from our incredible organising team… Michelle @divine.energy.alchemy , Muhammad @muhammadmeghji and Salima @salimamerali who turned a vision into reality, to our marketing and social media teams, speaker coaches, volunteers, operations crew, photographers, videographers, and everyone working behind the scenes.

Every meeting, every late night, every detail, and every act of dedication helped create a day we’ll never forget.

TEDx Moseley wasn’t built by one person, it was built by a community of passionate people who believed in the power of ideas.

Thank you for making The Silent Roar come to life. 👏

A standing ovation to our incredible performers. 👏

Thank you for bringing your passion, creativity, and talent to the TEDx Moseley stage.

From laughter and spoken word to the rhythm of the drums and the energy of dance, each performance brought its own unique voice to Silent Roar.

You added another dimension to the day, reminding us that ideas can be expressed not only through words, but through music, movement, and art.

Thank you for being part of our story! ❤️#tedx #tedxmoseley #thesilentroar #2026 by @tedxmoseley

Every idea shared on the TEDx Moseley stage was unique, powerful, and deeply personal.

To all of our incredible speakers—thank you for embracing this year’s theme, Silent Roar, and for sharing your stories, perspectives, and ideas with such authenticity. You reminded us that some of the loudest impacts begin with the quietest voices.

A special thank you also goes to our amazing speaker coaches, @cordell_jeffers, @nettyb_leadershipcommunication, and @hadeepanjwani, whose guidance, encouragement, and countless hours behind the scenes helped our speakers step onto the stage with confidence.

This event wouldn’t have been the same without you. ❤️
