Black Heritage Day 2024✅

When I first decided to join the HLSR Black Heritage Committee, I really had no idea what I was getting into. All I know was I loved the rodeo & had wanted to be apart of it somehow, for years! Opportunity knocked, I answered & we’ve been running ever since! To be apart of the BHC family is to be surrounded by & connected to black excellence at all times. To be connected to Black Western Culture, is something almost unexplainable. To be #ConnectedToTheVision of this committee & the Houston Rodeo is something only those who live for being apart of something bigger than yourself can even dream of! The countless hours the we’ve put in over this past year to make yesterday a success are beyond measurable… But seeing the smile on everyone’s faces from 6am until after midnight made it all worth it!
