There it is for you in black and white, highlighted in green. I know what they’re saying every day on the news every day(used “every day” twice for emphasis. I’m just suggesting that you pay More attention to what GOD has said. The Word in that Bible that’s been sitting on the table throughout your entire life, is just as powerful now as it has ever been. Stand on GOD’s promises. Claim Your Heritage as a “Servant of the Lord.”

I’ll warn you up front that this post ain’t for everybody. This isn’t necessarily a must-read for the social media moguls who have already made it...whose posts regularly get “#goals” as a response.

This one’s for the guy or girl who has bet everything on the one that stares back at them from the mirror. Here’s the answer to all of the questions you ask yourself daily. The answer is that everything that you need in order to get to where you want to go is already inside you. There’s almost certainly development to be sought in certain areas...but you already have the raw materials.

I just wanted to remind you of that...and also that you cannot become the Rocky on the right, without first mastering the Rocky on the left. Don’t be afraid of spending the amount time that you’ll have to spend in the “darkroom” before your picture fully develops. Know that I’m talking to myself at the same time I’m talking to you.

Those pictures of Rocky are pics of the same guy...at two very different stages of development.

I think there are countless people who have already inspired you with what they’ve been able to achieve and purchase. I simply intend for you to see the entire game...and not just the highlights.

I’m out to be brave enough to try to lift you while I’m climbing...rather than merely sending you a pic of the view from the top.

Don’t mind me. I’m just taking a second to talk to the man in the mirror...between rounds🙂

Just figured somebody might need to have a similar conversation with themselves.

Hear me now, and believe me later:

You Will get through this.

You Will come out on top.

Celebration Will be the result of your being allergic to Procrastination.

Believe in your heart that your Success is Inevitable. Then govern your every thought and action with that belief.

A mother eagle sits on her eggs Every day, without fail, until they hatch...without those eggs showing Any signs of life. There’s no baby bump, no random kicks...nothing that would tell her that progress is being made...that a baby eagle is actually growing inside each egg...

Yet she does what she knows to do...she sits on those eggs and keeps them warm without fail. She never wavers. Eventually, a baby eagle beak cracks through each one of the shells, and her wait is over.

Somebody is reading this and feeling “I’m doing everything I know to do...and I’m still not getting the result that I want.”

I urge you to Not allow yourself to grow weary in well-doing. Keep doing the Right things. Keep taking forward steps every day without fail.

Never forget that there is Always a period of Preparation before any promotion takes place.

Jesus himself was roughly 30 years old before he ever performed a miracle. Think about that for a second.

And stop being so hard on yourself.

Keep showing up.
Keep gettin up early.
Keep sitting in the front.
Keep taking notes.
Keep reviewing and implementing the knowledge in those notes.
Keep practicing.
Keep improving.

Your Day is coming...

When things are at their very worst, refuse to lose sight of the fact that GOD is in Ultimate Control. Think back to one of the several times in your life, when you “saw no way out”...only to later see GOD shift the entire situation, and leverage those same dire circumstances in your favor. I don’t know who I’m specifically speaking to this morning, but I know that there is someone reading this who feels like all is lost...like things are as bad as they’ve ever been...like you can’t even share details of your struggle, fearing that you’ll be judged and looked down upon. I speak to you right now as a living witness that the only opinion of you that truly matters, is the one that paints you as fearfully and wonderfully made...and that would be GOD’s opinion. Refuse to be depressed or deterred. Stand up, take action, and control the things that you can control. Trust GOD to do the rest. HE is the source of our Power. Refuse to be paralyzed by worry or fear. It is HIS Will to bless you exceedingly and abundantly, above all that you could ever ask or think. This event marks the end of an intentional social media hiatus for me.

Was watching this as I pushed through my nightly meeting with the Stairmaster. @beyonce talked about how she was at 218lbs and had to have an emergency Cesarean, after battling pre-eclampsia and other challenges of a difficult pregnancy. You see her on stage, showing absolutely no sign that anything ever happened...and she hasn’t lost a step! Just wanted to take a sec to give a shout-out, and mad respect, to all the Mothers out there who endured something that no man ever could(some multiple times). I know I owe everything to my Mom...and I’m sure that I’m not the only one that feels that way.
