The day is finally over, and honestly, sometimes self-care is just the little things you do before you call it a night. 🤍✨

My easy skincare routine in under 5 minutes after a long day; because sometimes your skin just needs a little reset. ✨🤍

This morning, I told my Daddy how overwhelmed I’ve been feeling. The year is almost over, my birthday is around the corner, and there are still so many things I thought I would have accomplished by now.

And somewhere in that conversation, He reminded me of something: “Have I not carried you this far? And will I not carry you to the very end? I make all things beautiful in My time.”

I sat with that for a while, because how easily we let the things that haven’t happened make us forget the God who has been faithful in the things that have.

At the beginning of this year, I called it my ‘God over everything kind of year.’ And I’m realising that “everything” includes the things I’m still waiting for.

God over my unfinished plans.
God over the deadlines I gave myself.
God over the prayers I thought would have answers by now.
God over the person I thought I would be by this time.

Maybe you’re here too, measuring the year by what you’ve achieved and quietly wondering if you’ve fallen behind.

But what if faith is also learning to leave room for God to write a story that doesn’t follow your timeline?

It’s still a God over everything kind of year. Even the things I don’t understand, the things I haven’t received, and the things I’m still becoming.🤍

Have a lovely day ❤️.
