I never thought I’d be looking out of an airplane window and feeling sad about the skies above home. From up above, it looks really terrible, the air was yellow!! I felt really sad leaving my kids behind (even for a few days) in this state. 😳😭

Being able to breathe clean air, to run around and play outside, shouldn’t be something we have to hope for. I miss our blue skies. I hope we get them back soon. 😭💙🙏🏻 But in the meantime, pls pls pls mask up!!! 😷 by @teeteeheehee

Yknow what... I dont think we talk enough about protecting our own sense of wonder.🥹
Kids seem to find magic everywhere, but somewhere along the way… many of us adults stop looking.

Visiting teamLab Future World with my girls was a lovely reminder to slow down, look a little closer, and let yourself be surprised every now and then.🤍

If you’ve been before, this might be a good excuse to go back! @artsciencemuseumsg ‘s teamLab Future World is always evolving and has recently had a little makeover, so you might be surprised by how much has changed since your last visit. If u think abt it… every holiday with kids is a tiny time capsule. It’s the last time I get to travel with these versions of them, before they grow into whoever they’re becoming next. It’s so sad and so beautiful at the same time. Typing this as I hear their little snores and breathing sounds next to me in bed as they sleep. 🥹❤️

Still thinking about this little moment 🥹

My first reaction was honestly “omg… stranger danger”😂 Because as a parent, I think that instinct just kicks in automatically when a stranger is paying attention to your child.

It made me think about how we’re always teaching our kids to be careful around strangers (99% of the time, YES!!!!) but sometimes, little moments like this (the 1% lol) remind me that the world is also full of kindness and good people. ✨

This random encounter with this uncle also really inspired me. 🥹There was something so inspiring about seeing him so happily making art at his age, completely absorbed in what he was doing, his backpack full of sketch papers and art materials.

And maybe that’s one of the things I love about art… it makes the world feel a little softer. And it definitely made our day feel a little more beautiful. 🤍😍 by @teeteeheehee

A little journey through scent, stories and our senses. ✨As a book lover, I think there’s something so special about a fragrance that feels like a story in a bottle. I love how Aesop’s scents connect words, emotions and imagery …the kind that can conjure a feeling or a whole scene in your mind.

If you’re a parent raising young girls, these are some books to save. 🫶🏻 Books really do shape us…the way we think, the way we see ourselves, and the way we understand the world around us.
These are some feminist books I read in my early 20s that stayed with me, and I’m slowly rereading them now that I’m a mum to two girls. 🫶🏻😬

It’s funny how the same books can feel so different when you come back to them at another stage of life. Some things I understood then, some things I’m only understanding now, and some I’m reading with the thought of what I hope my girls will know about being women someday. 🤍 That’s why I love reading so much and I genuinely feel sad sometimes knowing there will be so many books that I’ll never be able to read in my lifetime lol.

When I was in my 20s, I wanted things that impressed other people. That’s the age when you wanna prove yourself. We’ve all been there. 🤣🙈 I see it a lot when I talk to people in their 20s, they work hard to save up for a branded bag, or an expensive watch. Nothing wrong with that, I’ve been there. But as I am in my 30s now, I find that there’s a quiet shift in where I spend my money. I find myself spending on things that make my life actually feel richer.

For me, that looks like books that stay with me long after I’ve finished them, classes that challenge me, fitness that helps me feel strong, supporting talented local makers, and creating memories with my family.

Don’t get me wrong…I still appreciate beautiful bags and nice shoes. 🙈They just don’t sit at the top of my wishlist anymore.

Maybe that’s one of the nicest things about getting older, you start to know yourself a little better, and you become more interested in spending money on the life you actually want to live, rather than the things that make you look like you’re doing well.

The month of August forced me to sit down with this huge feeling of disappointment for something I wanted but didn’t get. 🥲Now I know exactly how my kids feel esp when they say they want ice cream but they get fruits instead lol and esp when they keep wanting to know whyyyy they can’t. 🍦 by @teeteeheehee
