While opening a new exhibition, going mushroom and berry picking in the forest, figuring out how to send some of my artworks to New York, attending lectures at University, working on the upcoming light biennale at the Tartu Botanical Garden, doing a major home renovation, and travelling to the other side of the world for a Pokémon event… Of course you decide to take on yet another project with only 3 weeks to finish it. 😅

There were quite a few sleepless nights, but I did it!

And although I couldn’t make it to RuneFest myself this year, the costume did... despite all kinds of mishaps along the way 😅😅

Anyone who knows my history with RuneScape also knows that there was probably no way I could ever have said “no” to this project.

The hardest part? Keeping the entire process a secret and barely being able to share any of it... even with my closest friends...

Today is the final day of RuneFest, and the costume has already appeared in front of 6,000 people at the event and hundreds of thousands of people watching the LIVE stream, so… finally, I can share the photos too!

A huge, huge thank you to @laura.grigas , Meredith, and the entire Jagex team for the trust and this crazy opportunity! ❤️ It was genuinely heartwarming to see the costume at Runefest...

Pokémon GO has always been about so much more than catching Pokémon for me... It’s taken me to new places around the world, given me a reason to explore streets I might never have walked down, and... best of all... brought me together with people..

Old friends I get to see again.. New friends I would never have met otherwise. Different countries, different languages, different lives… all connected by the same little game on our phones. 💙

Some of my favourite memories aren’t even about the rare catches or the perfect IVs. They’re the laughs, the adventures, the meetups, and the feeling of arriving somewhere new and already having something in common with the people there..

Well… the birds are officially out...

It's been nearly two weeks, since P*RN opened at Tartu Art House with Multinektar... and what a night it was... So many people, so much energy, and honestly, way more love for my Male birds than I could have hoped for..

This little flock has been keeping me busy for the past 4-5 months: 16 unique ceramic birds, all hand-modelled from real people, all with their own personalities, egos and… well, equipment

I’m incredibly happy to finally have them out in the world and even happier that people seem to be having as much fun with them as I am..

P*RN is on view at Tartu Art House until the end of August.
So if you haven’t met the birds yet, there’s still time!

And that's a wrap on cloudberry season. 🧡

Another summer spent wandering through bogs, chasing those little golden treasures, getting soaked, sunburnt and somehow loving every minute of it..

This year brought plenty of laughs and time shared with some of the dearest people in my life...

Until next season, cloudberries..
