Got my precious Husband this Ghanaian 🇬🇭 smock (Fugu, as it’s called), and it was a most pleasant gift to his heart (he had been raving about it for months). As the very pro-African and pro-culture man I know him to be, he wore it immediately, loved it thoroughly, and expressed that he would be wearing it again the coming Sunday (oh to have little to non-existent care about repeating outfits, especially in such short timeframe).

I on the other hand, didn’t share same sentiment. I can in my heart plan outfits weeks ahead, and I had done that already.

However, Sunday came, and in looking at my lovely husband, I reminded myself, who makes the rules anyways? Tega is always set to live life on upheld values, rather than externals. So I adjusted and joineddd my Baby. It was also great window to try on these wooden earrings that I absolutely love (with my glorious hairrrr too)!! ❤️

From overindulging in European cuisine, to meeting the CEO of @zaroncosmetics, this day was beautiful for several reasons.
_
I had no idea that she was the exec, only that I was incredibly admiring her Senegalese outfit (I overheard her mention, as others kept asking her about it), till we were given Zaron gift bags, and then my sister-in-love alluded to the owner being around, and she being the one.
_
Later on, I brought out my Zaron pink max sheen gloss (one of my faves) from my purse, to show her as my introductory way of saying hello.

She immediately smiled and reached out to give me a hug. I said, “I was admiring your outfit earlier, you look so beautiful in it”, and she says, “I was admiring you earlier tooo”. Goshh, it was the most beautiful exchange ever❤️
