It was a great pleasure and a rare privilege to be part of the Management team that had the honour of hosting our WTO Director-General, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

I have always admired her, but meeting her in person and listening to her speak up close left me in awe of the depth of her intellect, clarity of thought, and deep commitment to Africa's growth and global trade.

I have always believed in giving people their flowers while they’re still alive.
Last year after a church program, that belief was reinforced in me. And with everything that has happened in the past few days, it has become even clearer ,life is fragile. Challenges will come, but while we are here, we must live. We must love loudly. We must celebrate intentionally.
And today, I celebrate you.

You are not just my sister-in-law , you are my sister. Truly. It feels like we were cut from the same womb. I am so proud of the woman you have become. I’ve watched you grow, evolve, and step into yourself over the years, and it has been beautiful to witness.

Another year has come around, and honestly, I am so excited, I always am about this day! Today, my heart is overflowing because all I can truly say is THANK YOU.

God has been so incredibly good to me , through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. He showed up and He showed out. 🙌🏽

I am super-duper proud of the woman I’m becoming.
Grateful for my amazing Hubby and Daughter, my Family, my Friends who became Family, my Colleagues who are now Family, my Job, my Event Business, and every other beautiful endeavor I’m building. ✨

God has been awesome.
