I draw warriors, characters who inspire me with determination, discipline, focus, and passion beyond all else, who motivate me to be the best version of myself.

Since I can remember I was always fiercely attracted to hardcore female figures, Lieutenant Ripley (Alien), Sarah Connor (Terminator), (Lieutenant Jordan O’Neil (J.I Jane), Leeloo Dallas (5th Element) Alice (Resident Evil), Aeon Flux, Storm, Dark Phoenix, Michonne (Walking dead)… I was also very inspired by female revolutionaries, brave independent women who had dreams beyond imagination, and changed the corse of history, Marie Curie, Queen Elizabeth I, The Red queen of Palenque Tz’akbu Ajaw, Hua Mulan, Boudicca, Mary Shelly… and so many more!
They became my mentors, my guides; I would read about them, study them, watch movies of them; write stories and create characters inspired by them, they motivated my every day, when training, when moments where the hardest I had them, through childhood , my teens, and onto today,
Iv always believed that I could chose who influences me, my surroundings would not determine who I was, ore who I would become, there was no limits if I believed.
Though Art and storytelling I create characters who motivate me in this same way. And hopefully this same feeling translates, and is able to inspire others too, to be their fiercest, and to above all adversity, to never give up!

Every culture creates its own gods, saints, deity’s and demons.
So… I painted my own

My Illustrations are based on the conceptualization and diversity of the human figure within the spectrum of fantastic and esoteric reality, emphasizing towards the beauty, strength and the strangeness of the ancestral and unknown, into futuristic dystopias, forgotten tribes, powerful and inspiring, gods and warriors, hi tech & machines, inter-dimensional beings, created into post-apocalyptic realities within other worlds and ours.

I merge both the power and richness of the traditions and cosmology brought from my Mexican ancestry with the myths and legends from the old wolrd through my European heritage, Translating them into new powerful themes of futuristic reversion.

IT’S OFFICIAL! 🤯
I’M A @dccomics COMICS COVER ARTIST!!! 🙏🖤✨
I literally SCREAMED when I received the phone call! 🙈 And I’ve been so incredibly excited ever since, but I’ve had to be a little bit of a wizard at keeping this to myself until I was given the green light to announce it, 🧙‍♀️✨and that a better place to announce it that in Gotham itself 🦇
AND HERE I AM!! My official announcement as one of the DC Comics cover artist team, alongside so many incredible artists I admire so so much! 🥹❤️
I’m beyond honoured, excited, and grateful. Truthfully, these past few months have felt like a dream.
Becoming a cover artist is no easy feat. There are SO many mind-blowingly talented, dedicated artists out there, and only a limited number of covers to go around. So, to be given this opportunity means the absolute world to me!
For years, I’ve looked at my favourite superheroes and had so much fun imagining how I would reinterpret them. How would I portray them? What would the atmosphere be like? The light and color, the mood, poses, the sharpness, the expressions, the psychology behind each character, the costumes and environment, the beauty of building I absolutely love so much, of going as deep as I can into understanding them, and brining them out into reality through my paintings…
I’ve spent years exploring these ideas in my imagination, and now, getting to do it officially, for DC Comics, is an absolute DREAM COME TRUE! 😭❤️‍🔥🙏
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my work, followed my journey, collected my art, and encouraged me along the way, & special thanks to @krs_studios1 for believing in me! And, of course, thank you to the DC Comics team for this incredible opportunity and for welcoming me into their world!

She IS Niobe. There is something magic about making comics, especially when creators collide in a way that’s impossible to describe, from story to concept to creation. New York is one of my favourite cities in the world. There’s something so spontaneous, magical and full of possibility about it… the light reflecting off the buildings, the fire escapes, the metal structures, the rush of people and that incredible creative energy in the air.

Salem Ravensong & my personal name: Raven Hunters

🐦‍⬛ NYCC EXCLUSIVE 🌙
I’m so excited to finally share our exclusive! which will be available at NYCC — Booth #3317!
& my singing Saturday 10th 3:00-4:00pm
For this piece, I imagined Salem as a hunter; as a creature manlike and built for flight, lean, agile and almost birdlike, hunting beneath a silver moon or the warm glow of an orange dusk. I gave him subtle crow-like features, and a little homage myself to the character of “The Crow” in the tear-like markings across his face, and especially wanted his hand to feel like a raven’s claw translated into humanoid form.
His design incorporates symbols of Magga, the Silver Moon Dragon, and Dura, with inspiration drawn from Horus, Celtic mythology, and my own from the God Rama and the Bhagavad Gita story. 🎨
Music was also part of the process; particularly “The Magpie” by The Unthanks, which I listened to repeatedly while painting.
And honestly, I’m especially excited to finally see him in print and share the finished piece with you all! It’s always so much fun to see the artwork come to life in its final stages in the comic cover! 💙

It’s my absolute honour to finally reveal my very first official @tehanifarr HELL SPAWN No.382 for @toddmcfarlane & @imagecomics ! 🙌♥️
This has been one of the most heartfelt projects I’ve ever worked on. I already loved the character and had enormous admiration for Todd, but throughout this process, I completely fell in love with the entire Spawn universe.
The stories, the characters, the rawness of the world-building, the crazy spontaneity of everything… I loved it all. I listened to around 20–30+ hours of analysis and discussion about the Spawn storyline, Al Simmons, and his allies and enemies, and somehow fell even harder in love with this universe, for more ideas ans a personal touch I also read Paradise Lost!
I wanted to create a cover that told his story as best as I could.
I wanted Al to feel alone, surrounded by shifting mists, while the incandescent Necroplasm energy radiates from him , & in the background dissolving into bats and energy. While behind him, the suggestion of a cross.
His cape is alive, constantly moving and mutating, transforming into demonic faces the closer it gets to hell; some in pain, some laughing… like a carnival of wrath.
His chains anchor him down, while the space around them slowly turns red as they descend toward the underwold, as though everything is pulling him down. And still, he sits motionless, perched & vigilant… ready to pounce at any moment.
In his hands, he holds a demon skull that may still be alive, its eye glosws, exaggerated, deformed and almost theatrical. One finger presses into its eye with absolutely no regard: brutal, invasive and blunt.
This is my homage to one of the greatest antiheroes of our time. I wanted to balance elegance with an overwhelming saturation of detail and action; something savage, but simultaneously repose and mysterious.
I hope I was able to translate even a little of that feeling i had into the piece created in Acrylics & Oils 🖤

Carmilla Red…🩸♥️
There is something so blood red about her name… I read Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu 1872 a few years ago and she became one of my absolute favourite vampire stories. 🖤
What I’ve always loved about Carmilla is how different she feels from the vampires that came after her. She isn’t simply a creature of darkness; she is beautiful, charming, intimate and strangely vulnerable, while at the same time there is something deeply predatory beneath the surface. She can be affectionate and seductive one moment, and unsettling the next. There’s this wonderful ambiguity to her: you’re never quite sure whether you should be drawn towards her or be afraid of her.
That contrast was something I really wanted to capture in this piece… the elegance and sensuality of a young woman, but with something ancient, animalistic and unmistakably not human hiding behind her eyes, very gothic, very story like, but very real, with a little “Let me in” vibes also another favorite book of mine🩸🦇
So when I was asked to paint her, in her origin story from the comics as Carmilla Unbound, i jumped at this opportunity!

And of course, when I was reading the script and imagining her in my head, there was only one person who immediately came to mind!! someone I felt could embody everything I imagined Carmilla to be. And that person was @tealecoco 🤍

For this piece, I wanted to add my own little personal homage, as I always love to do. I took inspiration from two of my favourite vampire portrayals: Ayami Kojima’s work for Castlevania and Victoria Francés, both of whom have had such a huge influence on my love for the gothic vampire aesthetic.

My absolute favorite thing to do after a convention! ❤️✨
Spending quality time friends! Relaxing and visiting with people I love and care for, having ice cream and snacks listening to music and stories, and sharing life and art, and even cooler when I can get to draw them!!
