Hi there and welcome to Teich Games!

I want to introduce myself, my family, and my passion for board games. Board games have always been a part of my life, and I am beyond thankful to share this adventure with you.

My wife Mariah and I enjoy playing board games on the weekends with friends, camping and hiking with our pup, and watching our cat knock our meeples onto the ground (his reminder that he’s the center of attention).

Right now, my first game, Putt & Peril is in pre-launch on Gamefound. It’s a unique fantasy dungeon game mixed with minigolf ⛳️ 🔥

I can’t believe the day has finally come. I’ve been looking forward to this for so long now, and I’m in disbelief that it’s now happening. I cannot say enough just how much I appreciate each and every one of you that has supported me on this journey!

Now, you may be asking what the next big milestone is? The official launch of Putt & Peril! We will be coming soon with a launch date so you can mark your calendars, but we would love for this current pre-launch phase to last no more than a month (3-weeks, ideally). 😉

If you do the calendar math, that puts us launching around mid-August! But we will have exact dates soon for you all so you have every chance to follow and collect your free gift before we reach that phase.

In an AI world, I bet on human creativity.

I chose to design this game by hand, putting my own hands on every detail. From the ideas, to the artwork, to the final touches.

Maybe it’s the unpopular choice, but it’s one I’m proud of. ❤️

Putt & Peril by @teichgames

I was able to try out the prototype copy of Putt & Peril coming to Gamefound soon!

Within this game, you are playing mini golf in a dungeon trying to avoid monsters, traps, and your opponents to make it to the hole before anyone else.

You and your friends will play 9 holes to see who can survive and be the fastest player to win each hole while playing spells, adding new clubs to your bag, and surviving dice battles.

What I enjoyed about the game:

The game comes with a bunch tiles to create new courses and combinations each game creating variability and new strategies each round.

The player interaction is fun while trying to watch out for traps and monsters throughout the course. You are also trying to stay away from opponents from additional battles that could move you into lava, more monsters, or into an unusual space.

Our goal is to one day mini golf in all 50 states. We really love mini golf. Within Putt & Peril, you still feel the mini golf theme while adding the dungeon and board game mechanics.

Please note that this is a prototype copy of the game and many components may change.

When @teichgames reached out to me about their game themed around MINI GOLF and DUNGEON CRAWLING… I was immediately enticed! 😂 Thematically, they knocked it out of the park!

Putt & Peril plays out exactly like a game of mini golf; you swing your club at your ball to hit it closer to the hole, attempt to avoid hazards, and occasionally bounce into other players balls! You play 9 holes, and each hole is randomly generated through tile drawing, making the game different each time you play! This game is simple to learn, but fun if you like chaos and tons of player interaction as you race to finish first each round.
